  8. Also down 80 lbs just experienced bathing suit vacation and EVERYTHING is wiggly giggly if it wasn't for my excitement at losing the weight and the confidence of that I wouldn't leave the hotel. Quite eye opening as to how fat I was, but Was is the defining factor. So I enjoyed wearing 3 different bathing suit for the fist time in many years #ROCK-ON
  9. It seen like you're scared of the notion that you won't make it. Don't look at it like that. As long as you want to lose weight you will, period! You've had the surgery, the best decision you could have made for yourself NOW just work it. Don't box yourself into another head trip. You're on control of the length of time. Good luck!
  10. I'm on vacation and celebrating so many things that I can now do with out pain. One going speed boating with my husband...well when I asked if the vest was adequate for me to float the young man said well your a little Fat you will float, now there was a time not long ago he would be swimming with the fishes. I smiled and said dear I've just lost 80 pounds and last year this vest wouldn't have fitted. He said Wow congratulations. Now my point is I felt so good about my journey this time I wasn't gonna let anyones ignorance spoil my joy. We went out on the boat and I deep sea snorkeled for the first time in 12 yrs.
  11. Its funny (not) how we will walk into a restaurant overweight and generaly not care.But a gym scares the heck out of us. Be proud know that more than not you will get a big nod of understanding that you've made a great choice too change your life.

  16. I considered the wls after my Neurologist closed the door and asked me how much I weighed. He is a caring doctor I greatly respect and when he offered such concern it worried me.He told me of another patient who had great success and gave me a referral. It took me some time and another failed attempt at losing weight before I went to a seminar. I'm do glad I had VSG

  18. Fantastic,I feel the same going away in two weeks and for the fits time won't bring my belt extension. Not did I book first class because I needed extra room. (Had gotten a upgrade) Looking forward to the 4 new bathing suits I bought and a actual pair of short shorts not capris will come with me. Flab and all I'm so happy for my transformation.

  23. You know you lost weight ...When the memory foam bed doesn't remember How heavy you were and now actually bounces back lol
  24. That's what I was told and about the time I was ready, when doc gave us the go ahead we ran home lol
  25. I agree at 3month I was around 650-800 now at 10 months my Dr.suggest 800-1000 which I'm truly enjoying sometimes a little tooooo much
