I will start my 2 week pre-op diet on Monday. I am not looking forward to it but so ready to be done with it. Cant believe the time flew by so fast! Keep us updated everyone who's doing their pre-op diet soon. Once again GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

Yes it was one of my options. I know I looked it up but dont remember if it was too expensive for me. I bought one called Pure Protein powder. It taste ok, havent tried any other ones yet so dont have much to compare to.

Hello and welcome! Everyone's Pre-Op diet seems to be different. I know that when I had my last appt with the surgeon is when he told me what i would be having on my 2 week diet. Gave me options of different protein drinks that I will have to drink for those 2 weeks. Good luck!

I have No comorbidities. My approval was 1 week. How long have you been waiting so far? I think there will be no problem with you being approved.

I have my next appt with the surgeon for all the details of the 2 week diet and all that next tue. Oh I know that's when this will all become very real to me. But I know I'll get through this. My approval took one week.

Hows all the November pre sleevers doing? Its pretty quiet in here:) I know my date is right around the corner.. Getting a lil nervous now!

Can A relationship really work out if your partner is not willing to make changes with you? I am scheduled to get surgery beginning of Nov, and already see this being a issue.

Thanks again to everyone for the advice! There's way too much to my story to explain it all on here! I got the advice that I felt was best for me at the beginning of this post without having to give too many details. I will be fine with or without the relationship I am in. Thanks for all the support it was more advice than I thought I would get.

I did state he was my partner. I am not married for many reasons! So thanks for all the marriage advice but didn't need it. Like I said time will tell! And that's all i can say, I'm going to focus on me and not be so worried about what he does and doesn't do. Because in all reality I'm the one who has to live with me and my decisions for the rest of my life!

After hearing all your good advice it made me see things differently. I explained to him that I understand hes his own person and that Im not going to make it a issue for him to change his eating habits. I also feel that maybe as time goes on if hes not pressured to make changes that I want him to do that he will do them on his own. I know that regardless if hes on board or not that this is my journey and Im doing this for ME. And only the future will tell whats to come!!!
