Manatee... I know where that "before" picture was taken! That is a pretty good restaurant. My parents live just the other side of that lake from where you were standing! (or should I say floating) That is where I grew up! Right across from the Home Depot and kinda behind the funeral home. of course... none of that was there when I was a kid I remember when there was only one bridge there! It used to be a sleepy little town. Do you get to this town much, or were you just visiting? I used to fish at those pillars under the bridge with my dad when I was a kid!!!! CIGNA has finally cut checks to all my providers! It has only been 9 months!!! sheez... I wish I had the interest off the money they hold like that from all their clients! I had to prepay my surgeon's fee, so I should be getting a portion of that back! Maybe that will build my workshop! Funny, a year ago, I could not have even thought about building my own shop... I am not getting my hopes up too much 'till I actually have MONEY-IN-HAND! Sure does feel good to have this battle won!

Ahh, geez, I just saw my exercise ticker... I gotta get on my bike and make up some miles. I only have till Nov. 28th to ride 99 miles!

Ok... I did it. After much procrastination, I did it! I put air in the tires and got on the saddle. All 296 pounds of me and that Trek mountain bike ALMOST made it all the way around the block! Now, I know what your probably thinking. "you couldn't even make it around the block?" Remember... I am in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. OK... that is my excuse. Well, it could also be that my block is exactly one mile around. I made it all but the last 100 yards. I walked it back to the house. I will be making it all the way around non-stop by my third ride i bet. It sure felt good. I was SUCKIN' WIND! I am setting a goal for myself right now... 100 miles before my one year mark! That makes only 99 more trips around the "block":eek: Maybe I will put up a new "Exercise" ticker.

Here are some 8.5 month pix. Banded Nov. 28th '07. I have been VERY happy with my weight loss. Started out at 400 and am now 296. So... here are some pix of where I was (miserable) and where I am so far. (lovin' life) These are some slacks that DID NOT FIT before Sx.!!!!

Oh, Judy. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Geez, what a blow. I will keep you in my prayers. I don't blame you at all for steering clear of the forums for a while. I might very well do the same thing if I were ever in your shoes. Please don't forget about us here though... we have been your support group and if need be... we will STILL be here for you. So... here is the original list of NYMPHS; something like 115 of us!!! Lets check in and see how many of us are still hanging around this place. After we get a good idea of who has "fallen off the waggon", maybe we can get in touch with them and bring them back into the fold. So, here are some pix of this evening. I finally got to shoot my new bow. I had it since early May and with moving twice in the last 3 months... well... not much time to fling sticks. My form is WAY off; not that there are any expert archery coaches in the room! :cool2: Hey... if there are, by all means, critique my form! LOL Also, I am firmly down into 2x shirts and 38x32 pants! I just hit the clearance rack at Khols the other day. It is SOOOOO good to be able to walk into a store and not have to wonder if they have a Big & Tall section! I just go to the mens section and start picking out clothes! Now, I did try out a pair of Levies 501 button flys! NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! I stopped wearing those my freshman year in HS. I think my thighs will always be too muscular and "left-over-flab" to get back into 501's. Anyway... Before -- Spring & Halloween '07 Current-- Today 8-4-08

Blue = not sure of "Nymph-hood" Red = not a "nymph" Pink = not on the list but was in the thread requesting to be put on, and I am not sure of "Nymph-hood" The only thing I had to go by on deciding if someone was a Nymph, was if they stated their Sx date in their posts somewhere.
