I was going to catch up with you and say hi but you looked like you were on a mission lol you look fabulous!! Oh sweetie you should of said ((((((HELLO))))))) I would of loved to talk to you, I go there sometime to walk around, or shop or get my meds... Where are the 50s ???

I was just thinking how i was before I got sleeved about seeing scales at the Doctors office or Hospital weighing me. I was so shameful to get on one (about as much i hated to have my picture taken.) Even now that I haven't hit my goal weight yet, I'm not shy about stepping on the scale anymore, it's become my friend instead of a embarrassment to me... I got my Christmas present back in June with no regrets at all.. Merry Christmas everyone; I hope you feel as well as i do....peace

Want to know my goals for the next two weeks? 1. Maintain my weight 2. Log my food. 3. Have anything I want as long as it is logged. 4. Enjoy myself and not stress if the scale doesn't move 5. Enjoy my family and friends and not worry about if I had an extra bite or something. It's life and we should enjoy all experiences. 6. Most importantly I plan to be easy on myself and not beat myself up or feel like a failure if my diet isnt perfect. Setting this list has been so freeing for me. Oh id add drink my water and get my protein. Not worry about calories. I hope this helps. I wholeheartedly agree with this, this is a lifetime commitment, stay with in bounds, make sure you get your protein in, but have that extra bite of something new,( means not a mouth full) and a taste of that, but at the same time if your not hungry why eat extra. I'm just one donut bite away from going into a binge and I don't want that, it happen once and the sleeve stopped it quick and I was miserable for like 35 min. But by all means don't feel guilty of having a meatball, just log your food like it was said above and keep track of what passes by those lips and take that long walk outside, the colder the more calories you burn. You burn more calories in the winter months than you do in the summer so take advantage of it.

I go through this periodically but not just a protein shake, but i try to drink some water and go for a walk til lunch or supper, once I get back into fat burn, I'm not hungry no more.

I have been having dizzy spells so I sent a message to my dr. He asked about my bp which I didn't even consider. I take three different bp pills a day. I checked my bp and it was super low (89/56). I stopped taking my meds on friday and my bp is still in control. This evening after work which is usually my most stressful time of day it was 107/78. Yay!! Im praying it stays in a healthy range. Yes I do too have this problem, I just take half my med now but my Doctor says that I must continue to take it, but I go back to the cardiologist and ask him how much lower can it get , as of now its way below normal and it scares me sometimes when I get up I feel like I'm going to black out, but I have skip it a couple of time and felt good, but now I just been taking them before bed seems to help but my blood PSI is low

I was just thinking ( which is a rarity... Lol) that I was sleeved in June and born in the month of June... Huh... I guess that just makes me a June Bug then.. So far I lost a 126.8lbs so far. I will take that but as much walking and riding a bike and hitting the gym ; it just seems that it should be more of a loss, cause the amount of food i eat. I'm just hard on myself on things and i put others before me, but the ones that only lost 70lbs so far is great!! For some reason guys just seem to lose it faster in some cases. I just go buy the 9 rules my Doctor gave me.. 1. Three meals per day (not 5 not 2..... 3,) 2. Do not exceed four ounces per meal ( if in doubt, weigh your food) 3. Solids Food "chew Foods", not soft or liquids foods, not slimy/slippery foods 4. No carbonated beverages of any kind ( not even diet soda) 5. Take at least 30 min. Per meal don't inhale it ( i have a hard time with this one) 6. Don't eat while doing anything else ( no distraction , be aware what is passing through your lips at all times) 7. Liquids first.... Pause.. Then solid Foods, don't mix, as space is limited, allow 30-45 min after solid foods before you take on more liquids 8. You are in control of your weight, choose foods wisely; space is limited 9.Renew your commitment every day!! I was told not to count a Protein shake as a meal if i didn't hit my goal of 75g protein, so if need be i will drink a Protein Shake two hours after my meal. But normally i hit it with the foods i choose.

Well hello! I will keep my fingers crossed for you! I was sleeved in 6/19/13, my surgery date i weighed 411 and now I'm 286 lbs my goal weight is 240lbs but I will try for 220, I'm on the other end of the state near Louisville, in a little town Austin. Good luck to you and keep us posted! Thanks
  20. I lost some hair, I was sleeved 6/19/13 and down 121lbs, I have had some hair loss but at the same time I got hair spikes popping out all over my head and I haven't used no special hair ointment but did used head & shoulders once. I feel so much better. They told me I might have 30% loss of hair but my head is so thick the Doctor told me it wouldn't matter anyway
