I share the same concern

I am about 5 months out & am so nervous about stretching my stomach out

It's so true

Things I have never though of before... A purse fitting on my arm better, jewelry, tying my shoes & yes even wiping my rear end (sorry tmi) ????

I had buyers remorse when I was in the hospital... My tummy was very angry at me & let me know!!

I wouldn't change it for the world now! Best move I have ever made!!! You will have no regrets! When the lbs start pouring off & your energy level is amazingly high... You will be so excited

It does get better & yes focus on hydration. Sips of liquid....

I am almost 3 months out and just bought stuff the make a salad tomorrow for lunch! I am so excited! I missed salad so much.

I figure I would try it tomorrow b/c I'm off work so if necessary I will be close to my own bathroom

I used the chewable gas x and everything was fine

I think if it wasn't good your body would let you know.

Oh my yes we've all done that!

BUT the after surgery "eating" plan is there for a reason it's not a typical diet. It is in place to give your stomach time to heal. Lets not forget that someone just went in the and cut and burned that sucker length wise' date=' and then stapled it back together!!!

Your stomach is still swollen and numb. And chances are you won't "feel" much in there right now.

Like I said this is not cheating on a diet this is a dangerous thing to do. If you want to cheat wait until you are in the clear, trust me there will be plenty of time to cheat yourself then![/quote']

How many calories a day is average?

I had the same issue. I totally believe it was related to the surgery in some way. I was so itchy on my stomach & in the middle of my chest. It was like a mild red rash. It went away in like 3 weeks or so. -
