Good on u!! I agree, only 4 mnths out from havn ur precious baby,awww, u def need to give ur body time to adjust from bringn another human being to this world. Thats hugggge nd u deserve the time:)) This procedure awa any other u might choose will b waitn whenevr ur rdy. So gl w the new baby, ur choices, nd with whatevr procedure u choose. Im sure ur a gr8 mom, well ik that u r bc u recognized how imp it is for u to maintain ur health first for u nd that sweet baby who needs u now! and right now being "skinny" is not a priority but being healthy nd present is! )

Congrats to u!! im a preop still, but i loved what u said about stalls bc it seens to b the bane of most peoples worries!! its good to know that tried it all, evn standn on ur head...lol, nd yet nothn worked other than patience. i guess the adrenaline from finally losing weight nd it stayn off kind of plays w the psychy when we've been overweight so long, so we tend to panic about stalls! hey there, just wanted to say that im sry that ur not rdy But so proud of u for not being pressured into doing this nd then regretting it ltr when it wud b too late. Ive been going threw this since june of this yr., it can play on ur emotions for sure!! i support u for sure nd gl. Hello nd welcm. Wow, whatta wonderful nd timely exp uve had thus far. Gl2 u nd many any prayers for health, healing, nd much successes!! ive been jumpn threw hoops since june this yr. Been approved w all appts except nutrition. Shes a real blow hard, military ins, so she wont release me until i c her at least 1 more time, nd its alrdy been twice. Ticks me off bc there is no waiting list, this is her choice! anyways not here to vent, just to wish u God speed nd God Bless. Keep us updated:) Dee Dee

Hello all, congrats to u all. For those havn prob w stop losing, thats a question i asked in June when i first started this. Ive yet to b sleeved, frkn nut has yet to release me after 2 visits, num 3 in oct. Im mad but geesh oh well, i can prob see her point... Right now, im about a 1 meal a day eater. I might grab a snack of cereal at night. So thats what concerns me, im tryn to add 3 meals nd ik its what ill have to do to b healthy after surgery. So thats y im like, will my body know when to stop losing. It reminds me if the steven king movie thinner. So w that said, to the OP, how many meals do u consume a day including snacks? And if need be, as some have suggested, add some protein drinks if u still like them, potatoes. I wish u nd all luck nd cant wait to join the loss journey. Altho im rdy to get started, i guess the nut knows what shes doin, esp since i struggle now to get 3 meals in...im still mad tho gla

Hi, to answer you both... Its military insurance and its at a mtf. So w that said, they can do what they want! it stinks to me bc the second nut visit is a waste of time. Oh, my bad, she did mention that it cud b bc of the furlogh (sp) which has affected the timing of it all. But its still not a good enuff answer for me to have to have a useless visit w her nd then 2 more w the surgeon. Idk... I just want it started b4 my health gets any worse. Just frustrating. And bc of us being military i cant trade ins

Im still hoop jumpn bc ive passed all requirements except w the nut. She stated that NO1 will get approved on their first visit w her which is ridiculous imo! so, i go bck for sec visit w her on sept 11, the first one was aug 3 rd and ive been at this since june 24 th of this yr. So perhaps she'll approve me, then sec surgeons visit, then 2 week frkn liq diet, then 3rd surgeons visit for perhaps then a date. The nut told me that i may have the surgery somtime early or maybe late oct to nov. It p's me off bc if ive been cleared by all of the most imp things how can she just say no matter what, she wont approve any1 first visit. Her explanation was that she just wont do it! idiot! oh nd the surgeons have lots of openings too, which makes me moreeee irritated!

you know ecip, as every1 has said, ur fears are valid nd im sure we all will or have had them, both pre nd post op. I am preop hoop jumpn but look forward to it. U used the word barbaric nd i can c ur point but you know every surgery was a first nd until trial nd error and yrs gone by, all surgeries were new once w little to no research history. My moms first of 4 unsuccessful bck surgeries, God rest her soul, is prob now considered barbaric in comparison to how they do it now. Butchered wud be an understatement to describe her surgeries. What about the first heart transplant or the knee replacements? my point is that there are always better ways of doing things w less side affects but one never knows until the first step is taken. I hope that makes sense and eases ur mind a bit. We know that one improvement is that its done laproscopically nd we dont have to get cut from stem to sternum. So as i pray that mine will b a success, i also pray that Gods will be done and i feel that having this procedure done for me and my situation, is His will. I pray for u nd ur journey as i do for others. Good luck and lets pray that oneday there will b a better alternative for those to come behind us but in the meantime, lets try nd "rock the sleeve" as so many others say that they r doing.
