I had surgery 1 week ago and I have to give my hubby some points! He's been making sure not to eat things in front of me if he even thinks I'd want it! he even tries my last couple bites of whatever watery Soup I make for the day (or couple days) he's being a trooper for sure! My goal is to be 'smaller' than him. Even when we first met I was 180 he was 175...we're both 5'10. For the last 7 years I've been around 240-254 and he's stayed 185-200. My goal...my first BIG goal is to hit 199.9 by Sept 3rd. My daughters first day of school! I'm sitting at 223 today.

I got home on the 20th...hardest part is wanting to put something anything with flavor in my mouth. Today I stuck my finger in hot sauce just to taste something! Lol

I had surgery Monday 17th. Tuesday I slept and had a swallow study. Wed. I did Clear Liquids. Today I added thicker liquids, had my drain removed, and am on my way home. I can hold down 3 oz an hour every hour. If I do 4 oz's then I have a hard time doing it again the next hour. I'm so excited to go home!!

I had surgery on the 17th as well. I'm still in the hospital...although I'm trying to go home tomorrow. Nothing is wrong. I'm getting almost a liter in...my surgeon says 1.5liters and I can go. No more, no less.

I think it depends on how much you have to loose. I weighed in at 206 12/21/11 when I got my band so I had a low BMI. I lost 45 pounds and than had my revision o n May 6th and have lost 20 since. I think I felt the difference at about 30 pounds because I needed to buy new cloths!I just had surgery on Monday. I have 10 BMI points to drop.
I'm 5'10"
High weight 254lbs
Current weight 230
Goal weight 165

I ALWAYS gain 5-8lbs during my monthly cycle and then loose it. I know it's coming and even though I was sleeved on the 6/17th I figured weight loss would slow...not that I would gain at all!! I gained .8 lbs from yesterday!!! How do I stop this before it makes me crazy!!! I know it wasn't even a a whole pound but it was enough to scare the crap out of me.
