  1. All the amazing food out there and you want Ramen Noodles?? Really? Are you a college student by chance? ha!

I don't think they'd be allowed until you are well into your full food stage. But remember' date=' they are completely carbs, and there's no Protein to them. You really need to concentrate on Protein first. Don't fill your new tummy with things like that that are void of real nutrition.

(Though I'm sure one or two bites won't hurt if you are in the full food stage already and are seriously jonesing for them.) <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />[/quote']

I know why roman noodle. My kids where having some and it looked sooooo good lol. I had spoon full of just the juice. That was more then enough. Not on full food until the 29th of this month. I'm scared but excited haha don't know what I want yet. Scared of even the purée stage because scared of messing anything up :(

  2. Well I read all your post and thank you all. I am trying some ice and heating pad. I was scared of the meds because doc said I shouldn't need it after 2 days. ( wrong! ) I may be pushing myself on the walking cause doctor said walking will make it stop but seems to make it worse so I'm gonna rest tomorrow on that. And you are right we all heal differently. Thank you on that because I was thinking something was wrong with me :(

Thank you all so much. I will be calling surgeon if it doesn't get any better

  3. I don't know what is going on with you' date=' but recommend you call the surgeon. You may even want to send him/her the picture in case that is relevant to the pain. Don't be reluctant to call. This is what we pay them for.[/quote']

Thank you I am I don't think I can deal with another day like today :(

  4. Just got my surgery on Wednesday, June 5 and I am still in a horrible horrible pain from my stomach it hurts to stand up straight it hurts to breathe and I'm using my breathing machine and I'm walking what else can I do to alleviate this pain. I know some has been gas but I got gas medicine which I was happy to say I finally passed gas never thought I would be LOL.

It hurts to go to the bathroom and sit down because of the pain in my stomach hurts to stand back up I have my daughter helping me most of the time god is this pain ever going to go away

  5. Thanks guys. Well got it done Wednesday and I'm not one of the lucky ones to have no pain. It was crazy hard to roll off bed to go pee and then to get back in OMG. Today is a little better. My doctor came in to yell at me and said not to feels sorry for myself but to get out of bed and stay focused on why I did this. I almost cried. But ya he has a point. I'm up and walking and trying to drink. My stomach feels like it spasms every time I drink anything am I doing it wrong ?

  6. I felt fine when I woke up. it was the next day that sucked...but even that was tolerable. You'll do just fine; remember' date=' the ends justify the means! <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />[/quote']

Oh I know. My kids keep saying mom we can't wait we can share clothes haha can't wait to be able to tell them to stay out of my closet !!

  7. Good Luck! Yesterday was 3 weeks post op for me. One thing I will say' date=' don't let how you feel freak you out when you wake up. I felt HORRIBLE! But that only lasts for a couple of days. At a week out I already felt pretty normal. And now, at 3 weeks out, I am exercising, just walking so far, and eating my purees softs and loving my sleeve. I'm down 18 since surgery! I wish you all the best on your exciting journey![/quote']

Thank you for that. I am a bit worried but praying for little pain :)

Congrats on surgery and the fact it's going well.

  10. Lost 5 more lbs in just two weeks. Excited

I have my surgery June 5th :) and like you I started working out before surgery to be ready for after it's been about two months now and I go everyday to gym for an hour or so and in 2 months have lost ONLY 10 pds I cried to my doctor and said really why only 10. He said right now your having surgery to help on what you couldn't do. Keep going to gym build up those muscles so after surgery it won't hurt so bad and motivation to keep going is already there.

We will make it and you are awesome to keep up with boot camp !! Keep up the great work
