Lol, I agree it is.
Did you buy yourself a new pair of jeans or shirt? When I reach a goal, I always get a new piece of clothing. I used to hate shopping, and now I love it.

Go shopping on line, look at all the pretty clothes, and shoes. That always helped me.

So now that I've lost my goal weight, and kept it off for 3 years, I don't know what to do with myself. I can't afford surgery, so it looks like i will never get the body I dreamed of, and I hit the gym 5 times a week, but that can only do so much. I also noticed that I can eat, and drink so much more now, and it scares me. How do you all handle being done with your journey?

I've lost a total of 120 pounds, but I feel like I can eat way more than I used to. I had my surgery in May 2013, and kept the weight off, but now I notice that I can definitely eat more and drink more than before.

Thank you. I started at 267, I am now 142 ish. From a size 22 jeans to a 6/8 jeans, my tops were 2xl, and I am now a size small top sometimes extra small tops, I still can't believe it. I had my surgery on May 31, 2013. It took my 10 months to lose all my weight. I had 800 calories, and worked out/ walked 5 times a week. Didn't cheat, and eat extremely well. I hope that helps. If you have anymore questions please let me know.

This is all I have for now , my former nurse is a very close friend of mine he works at another hospital now hut was able to visit me in recovery since he works close to the hospital I was at, that was on June 11th one day after surgery, 10 days later I told him I'd lost 6 waist sizes and about 55lbs and he asked me to prove it, my work scrubs were 7x(60W) so I put them on and this is what it looked like, I can't buy any for awhile since the surgery and time off tapped me out a bit but I don't really mind if they fall, I'm very proud !!! That's great. Good job, that's very impressive.

When your childhood friends you haven't seen in years don't recognize you. Or when your husband's cousins think he is having an affair with another woman, and it's really you they didn't recognize, lol
267 vs 144

That's one of the most incredible transformations I've ever seen. You not only lost a lot of weight, but you also lost about 15 years! Really amazing before and after pics! Congrats!
Thank you, I feel 15 years younger, lol.

Good Lord! That's amazing. You are utterly transformed into a different looking human being. I hope you're as happy as you look like you are. Because you look wonderful!
Congratulations.
Thank you. I have definitely have my days. I don't think I will ever be truly happy with my body image, and that is something that I am working on. When I was over weight I always told myself that when I "finally" hit my dream goal of 145 I would be so happy, well truth is that I didn't picture how my body would look after all that weight loss, but I am healthy now and very thankful for that.

That is inspiring I had my surgery on the 10th of June, and I started in February at 388, I went to my PCP yesterday and I'm at 322, I expect to be under 300by end of August, not worried about my loose skin, I'm just happy to be getting my health back and I started to work out at the gym again which makes me happy, I've always loved body building so I can keep up with the weight training, people like you inspire me to keep going and see how far I can take this, thank you for posting
Thank you for your kind words. Good luck on your journey. I can't wait to see your after pictures.

Thank you all for the positive comments. I started my Journey on May 31, 2013 and it took me about 10 months to lose all my weight. I am now 144, and I am proud that I haven't gained any of it back. I went from a 24 jeans to a 6/8, from a 2xl top to a small top.
