Me too. I only have to make one day liquid pre op an That is Tomorrow!!! My surgery is first hour on Wed!!!

Thanks to all of you. I decided to tell my mother that i was hired for a job outside of the city for 15 days. Also that I decided to start a new diet so she will think i am loosing weight only because of the diet. Sadly as my dad passed away and she lives 5 min from my home, I am the one that take care of her needs as food, services payment, etc. try to visit with her as short as possible. She is starting senile dementia so she forgets almost everything. I have been in therapy for years and even when i know NPD is an illness, sometimes is just impossible not to feel as if i want to kill her!! Thanks god o have a wonderful sister and lots of lovable cousins who are with me now. Blessings for all of you. My surgey os nect wed. I am so happy!!!

My mother told me obese since I was a youn teenager and then if i diet, she told me I was anotexic. No way to win with her. When I see pictures of myself at 16 and even when i gave birth to my dons, i was slim but felt obese. I gained a lot if weight in this psdt 10 years am told her about the surgery. She answer to that she thought i was going to fail since " you are not capable of shutting your mouth". So o decided to tell her i am not having the surgery and going without she knowing. Anubody there with a Narcissistic motherbor father?

How are June's 12th doing. I just got up at 4 am because i have my last appointment with the doctor before the sleeve day today at 9 am. I started my liquid diet yestarday and at night I was full of gases in my stomach. Anybody hss the same? Is it normal?

I have been smoking since 12 years old. Tried Champix and the nightmares were terrible. Zyban makes me too dizzy, now i am in free nicotine e cigs and its better than nothing. I am dying for acreal cigarrette but my surgery is on June 12th. Hope i can get used to the e cig with no nicotine. I usr Blu cigs

I tried Zyban, Wellbutrin, patches, gum, and even the electronic cigarrette . This last one helped a lot for about 7 months, but then i went back to smoking. Guess i will try again with no nicotine cartridges before surgery. Anybody kept smoking pre and post op?

I am from Caracas, Venezuela. Country in crisis with cuban puppet and in deep crisis. At the moment is almost impossible to find toilet paper in supermarkets. Go figure!!!

My doctor ask me to stop smoking at least 10 days after before surgery but it is being very difficult because of my nerves. Can anyone tell Me how are you doing with this issue?

One of my bigger problems is telling my 76 sick (mental) mother the date of the surgery but i dont want hervin the clinic with me or at home during the first days. She is a mean person. But the rest of my family knows (not the date). I really dont mind much if she gets angry withe because she allways is. Yet it makes me feel kind of guilty not telling her since she live 5 min from my home. Guess i will tell her after the surgery and desl with her anger later.

I have not problem about telling people, my friends, that I will have my suegery . But today, talking with 3 psichoanalist, they thinl ot os better not to tell peopleand just tell them yoiu ate lossing weight with a diet. I am Not the kimd of secretivevperson but would like to know what do you thinl. Are you yelling your friendscand relatives? Thanks

Is it ok to chew sugarless gum Post Op? In my Pre Op Diet I find it usefull to control cravings. Anybody know something about this?
