OH Pat, you don't know how tempting that is. But she is on a very fixed income and really needs the extra $. So I am being a good daughter and doing it. BUT NOT FOR LONG!!!!!!!!

It seems like I have been going a thousand miles and hour for the last 2 months. I have had almost no time to come here and talk to my LBT family.:cry I have answered a few of my PM's. but have not really had the time to welcome new members or answer questions I might be able to help with. 1st my mom was rushed to the ER because a blood test came back that her kidneys were not working, Then while she was there they found out that her Calcium count was way too high. That can cause heart trouble and all kinds of other things. She was in the hospital for 4 days and the Dr. said she can go home. I took her home and 4 hours later rushed her back to ER. She had been vimiting since I brought her home. Well they put her in the hospital again for another 4 days. Got her home now but she is still very sick alot. I have to take her for a blood test everyother day to check her calcium count. It is still up and they are running tons of test to find out why. She is so sick of Dr's at this point. And not a very happy person to live with. (she lives with me now) Her kidneys are fine now!! 3 days after getting my mom home from the hospital I got a call that my oldest brother had a heart attack and was on his way to the hospital. So back to the hospital we went. He has had 2 heart surgerys but is on the road to recovery. He is back home now and is expected to return to his job on Wednesday this week!! :clap2: With everything that is going on I have not been a very good bandster. Hospital food and all! I have not been anywhere near a scale. Well, it's there I just don't get on it.:nervous I want to thank everyone for there e-mails and pm's wondering where I have been. I will try to get here more often now that everything is slowing down a little. I really, really missed you guys!!!:kiss2: Oh, and WELCOME to all the new comers!!

OK all I think I"m back. For a little while anyway. I will try to get the guts to step on the scale tomorrow morning. All the hospital food and quicky meals I have had lately, who knows what it's going to say? Keep your fingers crossed for me!!

Paula, I was diagnosed with rosacea about 20 years ago and tried EVERYTHING!! I am very alergic to hydrocortisone creams and Metrogel worked but was very expensive (I had no insurance) I went to a Health store and was told to put something very strange on my face everynight. You will never guess what?? Are you ready for this?? olive oil:eek: !!! Guess what?? IT WORKS!!:faint: I have not had a flair up in a very long time. I did stop using it for a while but started getting red cheeks again so I am using it again. I know it sounds silly, but it really does work! I have never had such smooth skin. Hey, If it doesn't work for you, you can always use it in your kitchen!! Good luck,

HiTina, Another AZ bandster here!! Welcome to LBT! I had my surgery done in Flagstaff in Nov. 04. I usually get my fills from my surgeon in Flag or in Snowflake by Wendy Hall. She also travels to The valley once a month to do fills there. She does a very good job and always finds my port with no trouble at all. She is also a bandster and has lost over 100lbs. Sherri, Randy is right! Unjury is the best IMO. You can order samples on their web site. Give it a try. Jerome (owner) is very helpful and there are also many recepies there for you to try. Each scoop is 20 grams of protein.

Not my surgeons first but the hospitals first. I think now they are sent home that afternoon if they have a morning surgery. ?? I LOVE SONIC!! I usually go there on Fridays if I have a good week and get a "ORANGE CREAM SLUSH" OMG I love them! BUT our one and only Sonic burned 2 weeks ago.:cry :cry We have a few more fast food places but there isn't anything there that I can eat.:clap2: I know this is a good thing, but I miss my slush!!!
