They first 3 days were horrible. I was so nauseous from the pain meds. I literally dry heaved for 3 straight days. Hard keeping down liquids when you feel that bad. Hoping I start to feel better soon.. So fair, I'm not a happy camper.

Everyone has second' date=' third, or even hundredth thoughts--that just shows that you're taking the process seriously. If you went skipping merrily off to the pre-op exam room, I'd be worried.

Thanks!! I was all excited until yesterday... It hit me!

I'm scheduled to be at the hospital at 730am tomorrow. Not sure if my surgery is 1st or 5th on the list for my surgeon so we might be getting sleeved at the same time by different surgeons. I'm not nervous about the surgery but instead a little anxious and a little worried---anxious to get it over with and worried about the recovery and learning to eat again but this too shall pass. Then we are on our way to thinner! Adding you as a friend...keep in touch and let me know how you are doing and I'll do the same!

Yes, the surgery is not why I'm nervous... It's the recovery (I hate vomiting) learning to eat and drink differently. The first week is what I'm mostly scared about. I hear the first 3 days are the worst.

I am also getting sleeved in 16 hours, 37 minutes, and 19 seconds.... Very nervous

I'm 5' 4" and currently weigh 255. My surgeon said a good goal for me is 175... Which is good' date=' but I would LOVE to be around 150...

You sound a lot like me.. I'm 5'5" starting weight 230, my goal weight is 150! I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, PCOS, sever sleep apnea and borderline diabetic. My sleeve surgery is scheduled for June 3rd! I'm excited but also nervous about how this will work for me since I am hypothyroid.

Awesome!! We will have to keep in touch on our healing process and progress! Support is the best way to get thru this! I'm excited, happy and scared about the next 6 months and beyond. It's going to be a lifestyle change.

Nice to meet ya!I visited Dr. Hollis as he came recommended by a friend of mine, but did not like his nurse. I like Dr. Marvin so far. My surgery date is set for June 3rd!

My Dr. office did it all for me. They submitted my paperwork to my insurance (Aetna) on Tuesday and the office called me today saying I was approved and wanted to set my surgery date

I asked my Docs office if I will need to be on a liquid diet before sugery and she said "No" that suprised me' date=' She said just for the 12 hours before sugery not to eat or drink anything.

Same here! Got the call today that I was approved! My pre-op is May 29th and my surgery is set for June 3rd.

This Dr says the same things... Just nothing to eat or drink 12hrs prior to surgery. Who is your Dr.? Mine is Dr. Marvin in Houston.

Great to hear that you are recovering good and there are no complications!! My endocrinologist recommended Dr. Marvin. Dr Marvin's office submitted my case to insurance, now I wait... I hate waiting!! I totally understand the need/want to see immediate results!! I'm the same way! I live on Barbers Hill Rd. I am 39!! Yes, we absolutely need to talk more
