  3. Welcome! I was nervous at my first consult, but by the end of it I was anxious to get it over with as I had my reasoning for considering the surgery in my for front.   8. Hi Kathy. Welcome to the Forum. I too have a little over 3 months before I am sleeved. Just some advise I am using this wait time to become more knowledgeable in WLS and changing my mindset. It helps pass the time away. Lots of luck to you.

  10. I suggest seeking professional help from a psychiatrist who specializes in speaking with patients who have had WLS. Someone who has been through it themselves would be a good idea.

  15. I am such a shoe hoarder that my husband built me a shoe wall in our basement. I can give away clothes, but my shoes it will be hard.

  19. Great Question! I would really like to know the answer to this from some of the Vets on here. I have a lot of High Steppers (High Heel Shoes) that I really do not want to part with. Unless this will give me a reason to replenish my shoe closet. Ummmmmmmm
  20. Surgery date not until September. I am spending this time conditioning myself for my lifestyle change. Drinking more water and no sodas. Trying not to eat as many unhealthy carbs.
