Well you are one hot Mama! Gorgeous, keep it up.- Anyone had problems getting pregnant before surgery?
(My hand raised high) My Husband and I have been trying for 9 years! I was also told that I do not ovulate due to my obesity. Although I have 2 wonderful boys (through adoption) I would love to give my Husband the little girl he dreams about. I will be sleeved in September and will wait the suggested wait period then baby it is on! I will be working for my baby. Lol!- One year anniversary
This is the kind of post I love to see. Motivation for me and you look amazingly fabulous!- African American Sleevers
Chapstick makes my lips itch terribly. So I have to go with the old school vaseline jar or be the flyest wls patient to ever hit the bed with my red ri ri woo lipstick. LOL!- Who's playing the waiting game with me?
My waiting game is over 2 months until surgery. Patience is not one of my virtues.- African American Sleevers

- I despise judgemental jerks!
Thanks folks I just can't stand to hear people talk like wls is some kind of plague.- I despise judgemental jerks!
My family was having a gathering this past Monday for the Target/Ford yearly fireworks. All was going well until I paid attention to the conversations that were going on. My oldest sibling, sister in law, and a family friend were discussing different individuals (around 10 in total) that had gastric bypass surgery or as they ignorantly called it "The Surgery". This sibling and guests were unaware of my soon coming vsg operation. Around about the 10th name I became enraged at the judgemental tone of the conversation and I blew my lid! To see their reaction to a loved one having "The Surgery" I blurted out I am having "THE SURGERY now what?!" It was dead silence for about 15 seconds. Then I was met with the "You don't need that surgery Sis." and "If you dedicate yourself to a strict diet and workout plan you can lose the weight." Yes the nerve now they care about someones feelings because it is me! So I asked why the change in tone, because it is me? Where is the same judgement for me as you had for those other 10 people? I have dedicated myself to many diets and workouts and as you have witnessed I have lost and gained it back. However, yes I am having "The Surgery" for restrictions purposes to lose an extensive amount of weight so that my husband and I can finally have children of our own and possibly rid myself of infertility issues. So again where is the judgment now? I asked that they please see the positive in those 10 persons new life instead of using their situation as talking points. Thanks for letting me rant.- The 3 Complaints I Can't Stand.
Too funny! Lol!- Carrabas Italian Restaurant
I immediately asked for a carryout. I ordered the Wood Grill Salmon with grilled veggies. I packed half of my meal in the carry out and had no bread or pasta. Yayyy for me!- Carrabas Italian Restaurant
Thank you so much. I will take this advice and run with it. I am walking in now wish me luck!- Carrabas Italian Restaurant
I want to scream!!! I have to practice restraint. I am pre-op and I have been workin very hard to lose weight before vsg. I am on my way to a birthday celebration of my brother in law. I love him dearly and will not miss any celebration that he is having. However Italian is one of my weaknesses and I have been doing really well lately. Will it be so wrong to have a bit of pasta and pass on the butter glazed garlic breads? I keep telling myself "Moderation, everything in moderation"! Then I hear the small devil saying "go ahead and treat yourself", but with my poor habits a treat day will turn into a treat week, then a treat month, and so on.- My first post :)
Welcome and best wishes to you on this wls journey.- Deja Vu all over again
Thanks you for posting. I am Pre-op so it is wonderful knowing all the possibilities beforehand. - No day but today!
