  2. I'd love to know the dates & times of the support groups. I'm new & I went to my seminar tonight. The surgeon said the support groups are good to be a part of!
  3. I'm sitting in the room to have the seminar with Dr.Nick. I think he's in the hallway talking. I asked my DH if it would be wrong to stand up, clap, and yell 'Woo-Hoo' when he walks in...

  7. OMGosh, what a struggle! I hope it goes better for you now. Will you be able to have the band removed & the sleeve done at the same time? I'm hoping to have a quick turn around time as I have met my deductible & it starts over in September. The office doesn't think it will take that long. Thanks for the names!
  8. I haven't had my consult yet but I already love Denise! I have sent her emails & she always responds quickly. She said with my comormidities (sp?) I shouldn't have an issue with BCBS. I am so ready to get the psyc eval done & any other hoops done so we can get this started. Has the process gone pretty quickly for you so far? I'm anxious to know what comes after the seminar.

  15. I'm so sorry you are going through this & I agree with what other's have said. I can't imagine going through this without the support of my best friend/husband. If nothing else, I hope you go through counseling for YOU because YOU deserve to be happy and not made to feel any less!!!
  16. I'm so glad you asked about Dr. Nicholson as he is who I'm hoping will be my surgeon!!! I'm going to the May 21 seminar and I'm hoping we'll be a 'match'. I would be thrilled to read/learn more from his pre-op and post-op patients. Thanks ~ Rebecca
