  2. I was told by my surgeon you do not get dumping syndrome with the sleeve
  3. Where did you have your procedure done?
  4. They are not sure but I would follow up with the surgeon that you used.
  5. I'm from Mass was sleeve at MGH on May 3rd by dr Pratt. Love her. I'm doing well so far down 74lbs was feeling good until this weekend. Had abdomen pain and went to hospital and have kidney infection, compacted bowel Nd gallstones. Home now waiting to hear from dr Pratt on how to proceed
  6. I was told to sip all the time. No straws and to get at least 48oz of fluid could use sugar free Popsicles which helped so much
  7. The diet ocean spray raspberry cherry thinned out with water is awesome.
  8. This may be TMI but I'm thinning a lot down "south" the positive is I don't need bikini waxes. Lol. I'm thinning up top too and already have thin hair so I'm nervous it won't grow back
  9. My NUT said tomato soup was fine. I had a V8 and it was so good. It help with bowel movements and help me with my sodium levels because it was low.
  10. I'm 3 mos out and I'm loving it. I don't think I've had a day that I regret it (so far fingers crossed ). I have lost 74lbs and for the first time in my life since about 12years old no diet. When I go our to eat I usually order off the appetizer menu and still end up bringing it home. I would talk to your doctor and/or your NUT and make sure everything is okay Good luck and I will pray for you
  11. I crave the taste of salt now. Before sleeve didn't use salt but now the saltier the better. My NUT said my sodium was low so I'm okay using it. I use sea salt.
  12. I did not have a drain it wasn't even mentioned by my surgeon who was just acknowledged as one of the top 5 gastric surgeons in this country. So lucky to have her.
  13. I was told not to count calories by my NUT she said use this first year to tune into our body and listen to our stomachs. Eat when hungry but make sure it is physical hunger and not head hunger. Just healthy eating for life.
  14. I still want to lose another 50llbs but I'm less than 3mos out. I have had a carb here and there but really don't care about eating anymore. Kind of weird but I have so much more time in my day now. LOL.
  15. That's funny I thought only my brothers worried about deer season. Lol. Venison is a gray source of protein
  16. I was sleeved on may 3rd. Lost 50 lbs since surgery date. Lost 20lbs prior to surgery with pre-op.
  17. My NUT told me that she does not us to worry about calories or intake she want us to be in tuned with our stomachs and our brain. Eat protein first as that is what your body needs so it will buff fat and not muscle then fruits and veggies. She calls it the "prescription". Also keep hydrated. If we listen to our bodies then we will not over eat and if we practice this now then we will be successful. I love it and it is the first time since I was 12 years old that I haven't been dieting and have loss over 50lbs since the surgery.
  18. I was sleeved may 3rd. I can eat anything now but suggestion is protein first the veggies cooked or raw then fruit. I have lost 74lbs total 20 before my surgery. I'm loving the weight loss.!!!

  21. I love avocado but I tried it and it made me sick ????
  22. I'm not really complaining but I get hungry and sit down to eat. I cut up very small and chew alot and the I'm done so full and get pain in my stomach. Maybe I need to eat slower?? After a 1/2 hour or so I'm hungry again.... I'm about 8 weeks out. Any one else have this issue?
