  1. It's great you're doing so well and so quickly! Keep up the good work and successes!
  2. I'm so sorry you are going through this. I think therapy would be a good idea if your husband would agree to go. It sounds like he has some self confidence issues he needs to work through as well. My husband had the same reaction initially and I told him that I hadn't chosen him to spend my life with because I was fat and couldn't get anyone else. I chose him because I love him. I'm still pre-op myself (9/11 is go day!) but I've been trying to remind my husband that I love him more often so that he doesn't feel like it's all about me or left out. I think it's helping. Perhaps if you can calm him down and bring him back to reason, you can do little things each day to remind him how much you love him. I hope that no matter how his situation ends, you find happiness and have successful weight loss journey.
  3. Thanks for sharing! Congrats on your weight loss success so far
  4. Thanks for that!! I'll get some pickle juice tonight and up my broth intake! Do you mind sending me a list of what a typical day of 'eating' is for you right now? I thought I had it all down, but apparently I don't!!
  5. Day 4 of liquids. Experiencing swollen legs, leg cramps and diarrhea. Any of you had same thing? I am getting in all my water and protein, 1C broth, and all post-op required vitamins... Not sure why this would lead to leg cramps!
  6. Total bummer! Sorry that happened to you. But now you'll be sleeved the same day as me!
  7. Wow! Impressive progress. Keep it up, hot stuff!
  8. Today is my first day of 2 wk liquid diet. Right now I am hungry and stuck at laundromat (dryer broke yesterday!) without a shake! I very poorly planned today and I'm regretting it now.
  9. Good luck to you! As you're heading in to surgery, I'll be having meal #1 of my 2 wk liquid diet!
  10. Checking in to see how you're doing. Hope all is well!
  11. Good luck tomorrow!!!
  12. Hang in there girly! Keep your eye on the prize and try to stay busy. I start my liquids soon too (we are both 9/11 sleevers!) so you'll have to remind me of the same thing! Not sure what your guidelines are, but I basically harassed my surgeon until he told me what guidelines to stick to. The sheet he gave listed 5 powders I could choose from, sf popsicles, broth, bullion, Jello, and something else. I went through it all with hi, told him that I needed more variety and left with the following mod to my 2 week liquid diet. ANY Protein shakes/protein waters, liquids, etc as long as I stick to this each day: 65-80g Protein 700-900 calories 50g or less carbs I think this will be easier and ill have more choices. I also went to Nashuanutrition.com and Ordered 30 flavors of Protein powder (sample pks are $2 each). Good luck!
  13. You look great! I hope I have that much success at 2 months out!
  14. Tons of MX sleevers on here! You should find lots of support. Good luck to you
  15. Thanks, Beth! A mug warmer is a little hot plate that keeps a cup of coffee (or a saucer of food) warm for a while.
  16. I know! It seems to be inching by, but I'm struggling to make myself 'ready for surgery' whatever that means!
  17. Wow! You met your goal very quickly and you look great rockin' those blue work out pants!
  18. I'm a September Sleever myself, just popping in to see how everyone is doing with their new sleeves? Also, wishing successful procedures to everyone who is still waiting their turn!
