  1. Inflammation may be the reason for your pain as it was for me for the first two weeks. As the swelling goes down it will get better. Make sure you get sugar free frozen Popsicles theybwereva life saver. I was able to stay hydrated and eat them slow at the same time.

    Hello Sleeved Goddess

About how long does this inflammation last. Im 5 days post op and still hurting & can barely eat or drink a think. Too painful. The gas is just sitting on my stomach and walking isnt doing it! Help!

  2. Hi everyone! I'm Lisa and I'm getting sleeved tomorrow. I've spent a year researching and hanging out here and I finally decided to have the surgery done. Is it normal to still be second guessing my decision? I'm very nervous and would appreciate any positive thoughts sent my way.

  4. Hi' date='

I'm new to this site so I'm still trying to feel my way around on here! Anyway, I start my liquid pre op diet tomorrow and really wondering just how I'm going to make it through..... I mean, how hard is it and is there ANY thing to help "spice" it up somehow if that's possible! Lol

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! :)[/quote']

I too start mine tomorrow and im scared im gonna fail!

  5. So i just received my packet for my sleep study and it says if u have weave u have to take it out....i just got my hair braided why do i have to take my hair out for a sleep study??? Please somebody let me know

You truly shouldn't have to take your braids down. I went in with braids and did just fine. They do put sticky gel in your hair but its really not bad at all! You'll do just fine! :)

  6. Hello everyone' date=' My name is Alex I am from Des Moines IA, I have been coming to these boards for a couple of weeks. I joined the boards today as I would like to have friends/buddies for this new journey. I have my final consultation today in about 3 hours to set up my actual surgery date. I am feeling the nervousness and jitters. I visited several boards but this community seem more embracing... so I humbly ask everyone for guidance and advice... im scared about the pre op diet/failure... and post of complications... :([/quote']

Hi Alex I too joined today and I have a surgery date of June 7th. I love the positivity that these boards have! I'm learning so much! I wish you much luck with your surgery/journey! We're all here to support you!!!
