    Hello to all the tall ladies I am 5'10" and my primary care said that my goal weight should be around 175. I am shooting for 165. I don't remember ever weighing that little, so I will see how my body feels when I get closer to those weights. Right now I feel pretty good just being under 200lbs for the first time in my adult life. Hope all the recent surgical people are doing well!

    Listen - this isn't going to be a popular response but would you rather stay FAT and/or MORBIDLY OBESE and die earlier and likely miss out on a lot of life or would you rather have a little hanging skin? For me it's a no brainer.

    I think you should call your surgeon. Try taking really teeny sips OFTEN. See if you can get ANY Protein shake down. Even an oz....even if it takes you a half an hour! You need the liquids. It's tough. BUT PLEASE call the doc if you aren't able to get stuff down.

    MichiganChic - did the 360 lower body lift help with the thighs at all? Mine don't look AWFUL but they are a little deflated. I was hoping if I got the 360 that would help. I really want to have a brachioplasty and an abdominoplasty...but if the 360 helped the thighs...I might do that. I'm no where near ready for plastics yet, but dreaming!

    Tonight is the epic POWERBALL jackpot of 1.5 BILLION dollars and chances are I'm going to win! You have to feel lucky to be lucky right? Anyway I feel like I've hit the jackpot because I've lost 97 pounds to date. I know I will hit my goal. And if I don't win POWERBALL tonight, maybe this was the 4 MILLIONTH post on bariatric pal and I won all that cool stuff that Alex Brecher was talking about.

    Give them away. You need room for your new smaller clothes anyway. I kept one pair of size 22W pants. I'm wearing a 14 now. It feels good to get rid of them. I donated buckets of clothes to goodwill that were in good condition. Hopefully someone else can use them now.

    Happy belated birthday! Your story is amazing. I am sorting through helping my mom get the sleeve. Hopefully she will have it in the next 2-3 months.     Whenever I drank plain hot green tea it tasted like what I imagined drinking an ashtray would taste like. GROSS. I do like the green tree infused with fruit flavors though. I am going to try jicama now. I would like a crunchy, low cal snack!

    I'm sorry to hear what you are going through. I'm glad your surgeon was able to figure out what was wrong. I had some minor complications that landed me back in the hospital for four days but nothing like what you are going through. I hope others see your story and take warning if they get any of those symptoms. Feel better! ????

    There are side effects to all medications. I would hope at people who take these will have the necessary blood work done to ensure proper kidney function.
