I got Isopure and the taste was fine just to clumpy I did see earlier not to use it over 140 because it wont mix and our coffee at work is extremly hot so it could of been of been a combination of both to much mix and to hot thanks for answering -

I was told by a sales person at GNC to stay away from the protein shots, its all hype and not what we need, still pre op so I havent tried any but I have got a few sample of the mixes -

so I am still pre op but went a head and got a few samples from GNC as well one of the ones I picked up was GNC's AMP Wheybolic Extreme 60 Chocolate I havent used it yet and Im wondering on the directions it says to use with 12oz of water to me it just doesnt seem like thats going to be enough water at all even though its sample size of 2.99 oz so I guess my question is do you fix yours according to the instructions also I tried some unflavored in my coffee but a scoop was way to much so hos do you knw exactly how much to use, thanks for any answers -
but they do say it does have a lot of protein!

Im 5ft 1inch Im still pre op but cant wait to get my date I have a NUT class the 17th everything else has been completed so after that everything will be submitted to insurance hoping for late Aug or Sept... -

I couldnt help but notice the date on your ultra sound, May 20th not only is that my birthday but its the day I found out I was having twin sons.....22 years ago...Best of luck to you and congrats!

Im headed out the door for my stress test this should be the last thing I have to do before my request will be submitted to my insurance company, I was advised this will take 3 1/2 hours gonna be a long morning but well worth it. Wish me luck! I cant wait for my new life to begin!

I also have to have a stress test this Wednesday, never had one before so not sure what to expect other than i will be walking on a treadmill

Thats great news, I still dont have a date yet, I have one more test to do then it will all be submitted, he said my insurance is the best hes dealt with and shouldnt take the full 30 days to get an answer back hopefully looking for Aug/Sept...Good Luck to you

How had it, who didnt, how long was it in and how painful was it.

$25 for mine, was there a little over an hour.....Thank Goodness for insurance that helped!

Im 5 1 you can see my stats Im not sure when my surgery will be but eating right and walking at least an hour a day and its already coming down,.cant wait to get my surgery date. I have just a stress test to do then my nut class then I will get schedule hoping before fall but we will see......good luck to you!

Wonderful story, it gives all of us pre ops great motivation! -
once I got there it took like 30 minutes on the paperwork, lots of health questions and then also asked stuff about depression then once I saw Doc he went over the paperwork asked if I had a support group, how long I had been overweight what I was most afraid of, just general questions talked with doc for about 30 minutes, he was very nice and made me feel very at ease.

awifeinmichigan.....your post made me smile, I also have BCBS my Dr stated they are the best insurance company he has worked with. I will have everything completed but my stress test (due to Im over 50) which Im doing next week and Im scheduled for my Nut class 06/17 so he said once he gets the results from my stress test he will go ahead and submit.....I hope mine gets approved as quicky as yours -

I cant but a friend of mine was going through the same thing she has now decided to do a revision and do the sleeve she has gained 30 pounds of her weight back.
