Gald to hear you are feeling better. I really like this sight too. I know when I have my surgery this sight will help me as much as it has you. And don't forget that you are helping too. Since I have only found this sight a month ago, you are the first person I can follow from start. Your testimony is a blessing to me and many more who choose not to post. Don't sell yourself short. I Got my breast implants a year after I had my daughter. I had only lost 40 pounds and still have another 40 or 50 to go but I just couldnt wait anymore. I thought it was so easy and recovery was nothin'. I had a lift and 475 ccs implants. I gave the pain scale a 4 because I know having a baby hurt more than twice as much as that. I cant begin to tell you how scared I was, and for what? You should see my perky, beautiful, glorious, full , and did I mention perky, breasts. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. If I would have known how easy it was I would have frollicked in the doctors office and givin him a big kiss right before laying myself on the surgery table. I am going to wait untill I loose the rest of the weight to do any more surgery. Of course this is just one girls experiance who had no complications. Let me know how the tummy tuck goes. Thats next on my list. ohhh, I just wanted to through in that I had a little lipo on my face and would not suggest doing that. What a waist of $1200. That chocolate hussy was at my house too sabotaging any results the lipo brought.

Best Me: Dr Kuri actually has three other surgens who work with him and also do surgery. They are all on the american boards. I will find their names and you can do a search on them to see if you can get any info. I am thinking about using Dr Kuri as well and am interested in what you are saying. I dont know what the other docs names are beacause I told Kuri's staff I would only do the surgery there if he was the head surgen performing the surgery. From what I understand there will be 1 or 2 other sugrens in the room. Have you talked to Ishi (is that her name? something like that)? she will give you the other surgens names. You can PM me if you want. I would love to talk to you since we are both thinking of using him. Looks like my surgery is going to be sometime in may. I wouldn't worry too much I have only heard good things about him. I have done quite a few searches on him and asked other american surgens about him.... but I have never asked about the other surgens.

I also have really bad migraine headaches, and when I got pregnant with my daughter they started coming daily. Since I was pregant my doc forbade me to take my perscription drugs. Even though you shouldn't take too much cafiene when u r pregers, he suggested excerdrin migraine. I know how terrible these headaches are and had no faith that an over the counter could touch it, but to my supprise it really did work. I took one everyday instead of the suggested two, and those little pills saved my life. Of course you should talk to your doc first and make sure this is okay to take.

I am wondering about pbing (is that right) i have read alot about it and deffinately understand what this is, but does this happen alot. I mean will I be out to dinner on a date and ..OOOOPPPPSSS! Will everyone who sees me eat know that there is something different about me than a nromal person who has not had the surgery? I am going to keep reading old threads to compleatly understand the eating process. It seems there are different stages and lengths of time to stay in these stages. It seems from reading these threads that even those of you who have been banded for quite some time still have difficulty eating certine foods. Once you hit ideal wieght and get the liquid removed from your band will you be able to eat all of the foods you used to?

thank u for the bump, i had already read it and have to agee with you that this is the best pbing info i have found. what i gather from this is that it is just different for everyone. I will just have to wait and see if it happens to me. it sounds like some people can make it to a bathroom and be discreet and sometimes you just can't. It sounds like trial and error in learning what will bring it on and maybe just a bandsters right of passage. Can any one tell me if this ever compleatly goes away while you are filled or if it even goes away after you have your liquid removed

i am thinking of going to see dr kuri as well. your thread was done almost a year ago so i dont know if you will see this. please let me know how things went. i did an search for dr kuri on this sight and this was the only thread that came up. but i also did searches through netscape ext... and have only found good things about him. :bandit

hey yall; my name is anna. ive been lurking around your web sight for about three weeks. WOW!!! So much info. I live in California. I started struggling with my weight in jr. high. I managed to loose most of my weight in highschool in very unhealthy ways. But by the time i was 19 i had gained all and more back. After i had my daughter it has become impossible to get down to a healthy weight on my own. My family all struggles with weight. I look at my 60 year old gramdma and my 45 year old mother and just want to do something about it now while i am still in my 20's. I am 4'10" and 160 pounds( but i go up and down all the way to 175). My ideal wieght according to medical charts is somewhere between 90-110 pounds, but i would be thrilled to be at 120. So only 40 pounds to go. Probably doesnt seem like much to those of u who arnt leperchons, but at 4'10" its mor like 80 pounds to a normee. Thank you all for sharing your expeiances and emotions. It really takes a strong person to share so much (even your pictures). This is by far the best web sight that i have found and the first one that i have posted messages on. Still going to do alot more research and go through the old threads before making a desision on a doctor in Mexico. Till next time...Bandit :bandit

I have been thinking about getting banded and reading alot of what you guys write for the last month or so. this is the best web site i have found. but i have some questions that u could probably answer. my first one is why do some people not have ports anymore? if u loose your port i assume u cannot get fills. and also what about drinking? i really enjoy a few cocktails on the weekend. i am only 24 and like to go out with my friends on the weekends. it would be a real shame if i couldn't drink anymore. also can u feel the port or anything else inside you from the outside of your body? lots more questions but i have to get my daughter in the bath. love to hear from u

thank u all so much for your responses. i guess i made myself sound like a lush with the whole alchohole thing. lol. i know after banding i will not be able to have my 5:00 cocktail everyday after work, its just that going out with my friends on saturdays and having drinks is something i look forward to all week(I have a 2 year old daughter; need i say more) i tend to stick with diet coke and bacardi. so from what i am gathering banding will not affect my tolorance or ability to drink? i am 4'10'' and 160 pounds. i have been researching the band since i went in to see my doctor asking about gastric bypass. he told me there was no way that i would qualify for such a drastic proceedure but he had heard some things about banding. since researching on the internet i have talked to a few doctors, some in the US and some in mexico. how is the banding in mexico. i have only heard good things, but i dont know if i can trust the web sights that are made by those doctors themselves.
