I'm 6 days post op Nd no BM yet! But have had gas! Is this a problem!!!???

Does anyone know if you can eat the Fiber yummiest after surgery?

It took me about 3 weeks. Hang in there I know that was hard for me too. All of a sudden it just felt okay to be on my side.

How is everythin g going? How much have you lost. What are you eating??

4 weeks out and I'm sleeping on my sides. Awesome!

2 weeks out & can only do my sides. I have managed to roll to tummy once but didn't last long.

Kind feeling really down! I could never sleep on my back and it hurts to much to sleep on my sides! Been almost a week! When does the pain start to go away so I can get sleep

3 months post op and down a total of 90 lbs. !! I haven't been at this weight in almost 25 yrs. It feels AMAZING !!!

U finally made it in the post op section! I am 4 days post op! I heard taken a shower is painfully! So I'm worried is that true? Any suggestions or help? And when did us pain start to go away?

I'm officially two weeks post-op and I feel great! Im happy I took this journey! I've never felt better! Thanks everyone for your support and advice as well!

I know everyone's pain tolerance is different. But I'm just curious when does the pain from incisions start going away! It's still early post op because I'm still in the hospital! It's only 3 days post op! So I'm just curious

I was so worried because there is a box at the store that is Gelatin and its clear! So inch ought I messed up :/

So on the clear liquid diet where it says you can have Gelatin, does that mean Jello too? Or just gelatin? Confuses

My surgery date is TOMORROW! I feel over whelmed! Feel like I'm not sure what to do afterwards too!

I hope it goes well I'm really hoping they let you know everything before you leave! I'm worried too! I want to know everything so it do it perfectly so there is no complications after

I also had a pre-op class to tell us what to eat "drink really" after surgery and then a 1 week class to give us all the info about Vitamins. You will do great....it really isn't a big deal with the vitamins' date=' it has become 2nd nature now. Everything is 2nd nature now and I don't even think about it much. I had to remind myself to take a deep breath and everything will be OK. I can't tell you how good it feels to wake up in the morning and not feel bloated, with a nausea feeling because I overate right before going to bed. And the guilt of the ever revolving eat something horrible, feel bad, say to myself "what does it matter now, might as well eat what I want", just to feel so guilty again. That is all gone....I have followed my DR's plan EXACTLY for nine weeks now and have never felt better in my life. Good luck to you and you will do great !!!!![/quote']
