  1. Hey ladies I was may 16 th too! Doing good. Managing with shakes and soup. Struggling to get past 40-50ozs of water though! No pain and only a little hunger. Can't wait for my 4 week check with my surgeon to see my loss!! Glad you're all doing well!
  2. Hey buffbride I am in the uk. I was sleeved last week. If you want you can pm me for a chat. I love my sleeve so far. Between my preop diet and now (5 days post op) I have lost 24lbs. It was a costly decision but the best one I have made in a long time.
  3. Has anyone else had one? I took the decision to have one fitted when I had my sleeve done. I wanted to give myself a better chance in the long term. Just wondering how people are getting in with them?
  4. This is my preop picture. I am now 3 days post and not feeling too bad. Flew back home this morning. Aching where the healing is happening but nothing from my stomach. Just my stitches. How is everyone else getting on?

  8. They are ok with clear nail varnish, they look at the colour of your toes and fingers during surgery for signs of poor circulation. Nail varnish can mask the early signs.
  9. *to hear that whilst you may be feeling not 100% at the minute you are still looking forward to the journey ahead. Hope you get to recuperate well at home. Sending a prayer for you both this evening. Xx

  12. Hope you're both doing better now! I'm starting pre op on weds. Good to hear an honest acct of post surgery. Gives me a good idea of what to expect. Luckily I have my eldest two girls to help in the day and my husband at night. I can wait for the reading in the scales to start dropping. Nervous and excited!!! Keep up the good work, hope you're starting to feel more like your new normal : )

  14. My lot range from 18mths up to 14yrs. Lots of laundry, cleaning and running around. Have warned them that until I get onto protein I am going to need some help. Already starting to get rid of some of my fat clothes. I am selling all my evening dresses, I won't need one again until Christmas so starting my small clothes fund now! Can't wait to shop somewhere that isn't a plus size shop!!!

  16. I have my surgery on the 16th! So nervous. But ever so excited too. I am at 260 too. Start my fluids diet next week. Still waiting for my pack so not sure quite what to expect. If I could get down to 140/150 I would be in heaven!!
  17. Good to hear! I have my surgery in 3 weeks. I am nervous about how it will be for the first 6 months or so. I am on a small island just off the coast of France. I am having to travel to the uk for my op so not looking forward to the 4/5 days there on my own. Can't wait to see some results!
  18. I can't wait. I've been overweight for 15 years and tried all sorts. The only thing that worries me is how long I'll be feeling crappy for. I have 5 girls that rely on mummy lots! But so excited to be taking steps to get back to the me I used to be!
