I hope all goes well, I'm very excited but scared also. This liquid diet isn't too bad however, it's hard to be in the same room as my family at dinner. Who's your doctor and where are you having your surgery?

You look great , you don't look like you have any excess skin.... What did you do to prevent it?

I started my 10 day pre-op liquid diet yesterday, I have surgery on the 30th

Hi I have mine on April 30th. I started my pre-op liquid diet yesterday.

Just wanted to say Hi, I am also on the Peninsula. I have been working hard since July/August of 2012 to get approval through my insurance company. I am on day 2 of my pre-surgery liquid diet and have eight more to go, it's been a little rough today but I'm trying to stick to it. I have surgery on the 30th. I 'm really excited but scared at the same time. I hope to make some new friends and find good support

I am having surgery on the 30th and I'm really excited and scared at the same time.I started my liquid diet yesterday, went to the store and purchased so much Soup, juice and mixes to flavor my Water.

I did great all day however, last night I cheated and had a piece of cheese and some crackers

Anyone have suggestions on what types of liquids or broths that have helped with pre-op liquid diet?

I started today and my surgery is the 30th.
