  1. I agree I had my surgery April 9th. Everyday gets better. I'm resting my pre op appt isn't until Wed. I get up 2 walk around and to use the restroom but anything other than than I just relax. Gas pains are basically my only pains. Hard to get 64oz of liquids down by only sipping.

I look forward to tips and suggestions from you all.

  6. Be mindful about everything u read because every1 has a different experience and u don't want 2 let negativity make u 2nd guess ur decision.
  7. My advice would be 2 make sure u form great support circles. I had my surgery April 9th and I tell u u will be overwhelmed with information between now and May 17th. The closer u get 2 surgery ur nerves will start to get the best of u. Having someone 2 talk 2 that knows what u r going thru will be ur best tool for being successful. Good luck.
  8. RAAiNH, trust me when I tell you that process will sneak up on u and be finished b4 u no it. I had a lot 2 do as well but the weeks flew by and now I'm 6 days post op 2day. Be patient. And do everything instructed of u it will make ur recovery easier.
  9. Don't be nervous. I had my surgery on April 9 last Tuesday tomorrow will be 7 days post op. I was very nervous because I never had any type of surgery before and I didn't no what 2 expect. My surgeon was so Great!! I saw him the day b4 and he told me the hardest part was getting in the car and walking in the hospital. He was so correct. I waited for 5 1/2 hours past my surgery time, but the hospital staff treated me like a queen. I no it's scary but honestly u won't remember any after u get the anesthesia.
