  1. Down 52 lbs went from over 300 lbs now in the low 250s. I can see my weight loss and also can feel my bones on every part of my body. I'm experiencing pain if people grab my arms or touch my legs. Some 1 hugged me around my shoulders. The pain made me scream. Is this normal.
  2. Thank u ladies. I eat Special K cereal 1-2 meals a day and fruit. I agree I see several people on the site 4 months out and they've lost 100 lbs how is that possible.

  5. QweenNique, we were sleeved on the same day. I'm Struggling getting my fluids in as well.
  6. Bmordan, My aunt suggested I try Vitamin E. she had lap band revision to gastric bypass and that's what her dr suggested she try. I actually got mine from GNC but any health food store should have
  7. Angeleyes_oz, I think it depends on how many incisions u have. I had 5 incisions. 3 of them had 2 staples 1 had 1 med incision that had 4 staples and then I have a long incision that had 7 staples. I got my staples removed last wed it wasn't bad. My incisions healed very well over the week period. I had surgery on April 9.
  8. Mrsplusamericajacksonville, Just get a robe for when u walk around. Wear the hospital gown. They will be checking ur stomach often for bowel sounds, drainage, and vitals. You will be happy 2 not be restricted 2 a closed in gown. Plus you r going 2 be in the hospital all u will see is scrubs and robes so u won't be out of character. And once u have surgery u may not be up 2 putting on those pajamas. Be comfortable because you can't be sure what ur pain will be.
  9. Contrygurl, how do u no u had fluid retention? Any symptoms???
  10. Natedinsmoor2, I had a catherer but they inserted it while I was in surgery so I didn't feel it. Don't worry it wasn't bad at all. I got it removed when I was being discharged and it didn't hurt.
  11. Sharonintx, how did u know that u still had fluid retention?
  12. I'm don't understand myfitnesspal. It's advising me that I need to have over 1500 calories a day to lose weight. There is no way I will get that amt of calories in and I don't think my dr would even want me to do that since I'm still on puréed food stage. Any insight into myfitnesspal.
  13. I'm wondering if anyone is suffering from fluid retention after surgery? How do u know when ur body has released all the fluid from IV's given 2 u in the hospital? My dr told me I would lose that fluid over next 2 weeks. Post op-12days.
