I didn't know you could take Chantex longer than 3-4 weeks. Good to know. Also if you try to smoke on chantex you get extremely nauseous. I even started gaging. Wellbutron did not help me at all. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using the BariatricPal App -

I used chantex. It was very easy to quit. I quit after the first week. I also bought a pack of cigarettes 3 months later (stupid decision) and went back to smoking. It's been a year and I have chantex again so I can quit for good. Good luck! My doctor also said if you are still urged to smoke get the lowest patch of nicorette to help. I need 6 nutrition based visits with my doctor, a special letter from my doctor, and EKG with cardiovascular clearance, ABG, respiratory test, TSH levels and I think that was it. I've been waiting for years to have this surgery. I finally got all my papers in and I have my first appointment on the 29th with Dr. Dominguez and the nutritionist in Covington, LA.
