Girl, when them pounds start coming off and you start to feel sooo much better physically and mentally, it will have all been worth it. being nervous is perfectly normal. I said a prayer before they did the surgery and woke up dedicated to a new me.

Awww....it's gonna be ok! I understand everything you are describing. The emotional part of this whole thing was something I was completely unprepared for. It hit me like a ton of bricks. It's now been 5 weeks and I'm still adjusting but it is a whole lot better than the first 2 weeks. It gets so much easier when you can move along to some real food. Even some scrambled eggs made me feel a lot less sorry for myself.
Am I sorry i did it? Nope. This battle with food is something I never could beat for any length of time. Now I'm winning the battle all right and it comes with a price. You are ahead of the game because you recognize the price up front.
You can do it! You a are strong girl and a very pretty one at that. You can conquer the food demons one battle at a time. All you have to do is make it through your 2 weeks pre op diet and it will be downhill from there. You have friends right here to help you thru and I've read your posts since you joined here - you are a smart lady and you got this:)

I would talk to the person in the surgeons office that handles filing and communicating with the insurance company. Explain your situation just as you explained it here. Maybe they can somehow make you a priority whenever communication is slow. The week after my surgery I lounged around for a couple of days and took things easy but I ended up looking for things to reorganize and clean. It was surreal. Be strong and think positive. Is there anyone else that can possibly help you if your husband is out of town? Make a back up plan with them just in case your husband has to leave for Dubai. I would suggest make ahead meals that you can freeze for the kids. I don't know how old they are but even if you contact your circle of friends and family to make a back up plan for each day after your surgery, that could ease your mind. Other school moms to arrange transportation, etc. I think once you explore any possible opportunities that will take the worrying away and help you to see clearly that everything will be okay. If you live near me(Windber, Pa) I would be glad to help you!! Good luck! Keep us updated.

Thank you, you are so kind. I live in Louisiana. I have talked to the nurse in my doc's office. She is wonderful and is trying her best to help me out! Most of my circle of family and friends work and the kids can take the bus to and from school. For me it is mainly just the wait of finding out that is driving me insane!
