I love this thread also. I have been checking in periodically and it has been so encouraging and informative. I had my surgery on Aug 17th 2012, HW 348. Best decision I have ever made just for me. I have had a lot of struggles including having my gallbladder removed a month later but would do it all again to feel this good. Blessings to you/us all on this journey;-)

I was denied twice by Aetna. I just found out today that my appeal was approved. Thank God!!!!

I'm 46 and I can't wait for my BMI to be less than my age. I agree about the 40s being great--I'm divorced, no kids, employed, and the happiest I've ever been. I wish my 40s could last longer.

The BEST is yet to come . I've been married 20 years this October. I have an 18 yr old son, and 13 yr old daughter. I'm hoping by next October to be able to actually fit back into my wedding dress, that would feel SO awesome!

I guess I'll be the first, I'm 42:thumbup: whoo hoo! And I can't wait for the day I FINALLY have a "Normal" BMI and finish my 40's better than ever:001_smile:
