After being stalled for weeks I finally cracked 160 today!!! 30lbs to goal and, hopefully, personal trainer will get me there by my birthday in January. I've lost 65lbs in less than 5 months and need loads of new clothes. Down from 2x shirts and size 22 pants to medium and size 12. Oh happy day!!!!

4 and 1/2 hours. Loads of adhesions and my poor hubby was at home panicking because he wasn't with me. I was in Tijuana. He aged about 20 years. And it was my 3 month survive rosary yesterday. 50lbs down so far!

I have artificial femoral arteries and can only sit in recliners because otherwise the 90 degree angle in an ordinary chair would cause clots. And sitting in any chair for too long could cause DVT's!!

I forget too and each time I remember just as I'm guzzling the last dregs of my Water. Pooh the pain is awful. One of these days I'll learn that lesson! Lol.

I had an NSV yesterday. I bought size 14 jeans and they fit like a glove!!! Pre-op I was wearing tight size 20's. I love clothes shopping now, but to save money since I'm changing sizes so much, I've been going to thrift stores and outlets. Even my feet are smaller!!! I don't have to look for wide fittings now. These last 3 months have been amazing!!!!!

Hi guys. I'm 11 weeks post op and had an uneventful recovery. I had some routine tests done for my pcp and urine test showed high Protein. Was wondering if anybody else had this issue. Dr says its probably not about the high protein diet but I'm concerned that it could be.

I'm 10 weeks after my sleeve and the first place I noticed loss was my feet. Shoes that fitted pre surgery were loose and I went and bought new shoes and didn't have to buy a wide fitting. My feet measure half a size smaller than they used to as well. Not sure if its the fact that I'm not carrying the 40lbs I've lost and therefore less pressure on my feet or if they've truly lost weight.

I bought size 14 Capri pants today instead of my usual size 20 and a medium top instead of 1X! Walked out of the shop with a big smile on my face!!!

I'm 2 1/2 months out too. Lost 38lbs since pre-op diet but stalled on weight loss for 6 weeks. BUT ....... Jeans that didn't fit 6 weeks ago are now falling down! I'm obsessed with the scale, I weigh every morning, but realise that it's those NSV's which are just as important as the numbers.

Mine is 6 weeks so far. But I'm still losing inches!!!

I use I cup milk, 1/4 cup powdered oatmeal ( I grind it in food processor or coffee grinder) same of ground flax, 1/2 small tub Greek yoghurt, (don't like it so I only use a small amount) 1/2 cup any frozen fruit and I thin it with Water I also add 2tbs skim milk powder.
It has around 400 calories (flax is 100 so I leave this out every other day) and 28-30g Protein. It helps me hit my goal everyday! It's yummy. Not too sweet and I keep it in the blender in the fridge and sip at it all day. You could add more yoghurt if you like it.

I have learned that if I hit my Protein goals the weight comes off. I make a homemade shake with oatmeal, Greek yoghurt, flax, milk and fruit every morning and drink it between meals. Since I started doing this I broke my 3 week long stall.

It takes more than one episode of overeating to stretch your stomach pouch. Try to get back to healthy eating and don't worry about your indulging one craving. ????

I get the sweats big time if I eat bad carbs. I stole 5 fries of my dh's plate yesterday and spent about an hour wiping sweat from everywhere. I also shake like I used to when I was hungry pre-sleeve. The sugar crash and sleepiness sounds hyperglycaemic. I used to have this happen too but I haven't eaten anything sugary in the 7 1/2 weeks since my surgery.

I really despise the taste of Protein powders. I've tried several brands and they all smell and taste like formula. We can't get Isopure in Canada and I've really been struggling with protein intake so I've started to make my own. It's around 370 calories but it makes a lot and has 23g+ of protein and lots of fibre.
1/3 cup oatmeal (I grind it to powder in food processor and soak overnight in the milk)
1 1/2 cups skim milk
50g Greek yoghurt
1/2 cup frozen fruit
2tbsp ground flaxseed
Blast it in the blender and drink it all day. I only use a little yogurt because I don't like it. That and my allergy to cheese are the main reasons I'm struggling with protein. I find that it's sweet enough as is but you could add some stevia, honey or agave if needed.

I am in AirdrieI'm also in airdrie. Sleeved in Tijuana may 28 2013 so I'm 7 weeks out and down around 40lbs.

I have the same issues. Tried fibre supplements, ex lax, glycerin suppositories with no results. I'm going 12-13 days without going and when I do go its hardly worth the effort. Tried getting more fibre from food but that impacted my Protein intake!! It's bloody annoying. Need to talk to my gp about it, I think.
