My surgery was September 17, 2013. This was my first time throwing up. I'm so scared. I am afraid to eat or drink now. I drink some of an orange cream shake from Arbys and it made me sick.

I'm seven months out. I'm having the same problem. I can eat two tacos as well, if they are hard shell. I can only eat about 1 1/2 if they are soft tacos. I lost so much weight the first five months but now I only lose 2 or 3 pounds a month. It's awful. I feel like I can eat way more than I should be able to. I get hungry about every 3 hours. It's making me miserable. I've lost about 85 pounds since surgery and still have about 100 to go. Really dont think I'm going to get there.

So awesome! Congrats! I've been buying clothes at Goodwill as well. I got a pair of jeans from Old Navy for $3. In the six months since my surgery, I've went from a 26 to an 18. You will just start feeling better and better the more you go down!

I've done this a few times too since surgery. I take Prilosec everyday. It always happens if I lay down too soon after I eat or drink. I have to wait a while before lay down or I'm up taking Tums.

Im about 5 months out and I can eat a lot more than I expected to be able to. I can eat probably 6-8 oz of food. Maybe a little more.

I drank the Protein Shots the first few weeks after surgery. The shakes were not agreeing with me and the shots were a lot easier to choke down for a while. My NUT said they were fine to use.

I don't own a scale. I do what I'm supposed to do (for the most part) and I only weigh when I see my doctor. The last time I'd went in I'd lost 25 more pounds. I will not weigh myself every week. It's just too much pressure. It's hard enough taking Vitamins, get Protein, getting Fluid, and trying to exercise. I figure if I lose or not, I still have to do what I'm doing right now anyway so I can stay healthy. So I just let it be.

I stayed 2. They wouldn't let me leave until I passed gas and that didn't happen until after my second night there.

I'm 3 1/2 months out and eating is not uncomfortable for me. Right after surgery it was very uncomfortable. I also figured out that when I was nauseous it was because of gas. I would feel like I needed to throw up, then I'd burp and feel better. I also used Gas-X strips and they helped a lot.

I started doing this about a week after I was sleeved. It was NOT helpful. It was at first, but then it was too tempting. I found myself wasting tons of food. Even worse, I started licking the flavoring off chips. I had to just stop. I am addicted to food, so I have to be very careful about what goes in my mouth. Destructive behavior can't be done safely. Please do NOT chew and spit!

My doctor said no Nyquil because it's got too much alcohol. She said I cab have Dayquil to help with my cold. Again, I couldn't sleep because I have a terrible head cold. Just going to sleep as not the issue!

I can't sleep because I have a terrible cold. I would never take something like that just because I couldn't sleep. I had a high fever last night and obviously couldn't call my doctors office. I just need some kind of relief. I can't hardly breath because I'm so stopped up.

Can I take it? I'm about 3 1/2 months out. Can't sleep. Need sleep. Miserable. Has anyone taken it after their sleeve?

My nutritionist says your body can only absorb around 32-34 grams of Protein at once, so eating/drinking more than that isn't necessary.
Is anyone eating mashed rice or potatoe on puree stage?

I'm supposed to avoid mashed potatoes forever , according to my NUT. I have tried them though. A few spoonfuls is all I can do or my tummy starts to.cramp. I am 9 months post op.
