  1. I still get it at times now and I'm almost 4 months out. That's your sleeve working for you! Try to drink smaller amounts at a time don't gulp. I need to still learn not to eat too fast same thing happens.
  2. Its okay, just get back on track!! Do a little more walking today. We all have bad days.
  3. Don't you go to a dietitian to discuss your intake of food, what to eat and what not to eat? She really helps me understand, esp about slider foods and to not drink and eat at the same time.
  4. I'm allowed bread but toasted and i can only have 1 slice. But definitely NO rice, uggg HURT HURT
  5. How far out are you? Bread should be toasted and I haven't had any rice at all and my sleeve was done May 6, 13

  10. There is a vitamin by Natures Bounty it called hair nails and skin. I was just told by my nut to start taking this instead of my multi. 11. My doctor had told me that severe reflux can get worse with the sleeve, I have it bad and I still do. It was fine after surgery esp when he fixed my hiatal hernia. But it has returned so I really need to watch what I eat. But he did suggest the bypass i didn't want it.
  12. Best of Luck, it will be over before you know it!!
  13. I was sleeved on May 6th, the first 2 weeks were hard for me I had a sinuses infection going into surgery and it really got bad after. My recovery would have been a lot better if not for that infection. I am in my 3rd week and everyday is better and better, down 19 lbs so far. Going to start exercising next week want to work on my skin firming. Eating and drinking in small amounts is key, i over did it and wow up it came, I never realized how i swallowed my food and i ate too fast. The sleeve is teaching me to be slow and chew!! I was very tired the first 2 weeks, but this week week 3 I have more energy.
  14. You look amazing!! Your story is so beautiful. You truly are a billboard for VSG. all the best to you!
  15. Hey there, did you get to speak with the NUT or Dietitian? Maybe you need to keep track of the calorie intake making sure your putting in enough or vice averse. Find out how many calories you should be on. Sometimes its just your body holding on to the weight, it will start to come off when it realizes this is life now and let go, LOL be patient. Be sure to follow up with the NUT, also maybe your losing inches now that too sometimes comes off first.
  16. The good thing is that your back on track!!

Sweetie work real hard to get it down, do the 1oz-2oz medicine cups like every 10 min. That's what my booklet says. This too shall pass and on your way to a new life!!
