I'm baaaack! and feeling better than ever.
Haven't been online in a while, but now down to 193! Back to the surgeon in 2 weeks for my 3 month post-op appointment. -
Ok...so that was short lived. No longer in Onederland...but seems I go back up before I come down to stay.

After yesterday's adventure with the spin bike....Not only was I starving yesterday, I'm sore today. Had a follow up with the surgeon's office today and I've officially lost 4 lbs since I saw them about 3 weeks ago. Would have been 5 but I ate all day yesterday!

Started on mushy foods today--cream of wheat is not my friend! Painful cramping & gas had me doubled over for a few hours. Ugggg

TWO OH SIX...still stuck at 206. Hoping by this time next week, I'll get those scales to move!

Stuck at 206 for almost a week now. Thank God I measured ....I'm still losing inches, but the scale won't budge!

Feeling MUCH better today! Had a good night's sleep...today I'm off to the fabric / craft store to pick up a few things and then to my PCP for a follow up

Followed up with the surgeon today. He is pleased with my progress but I need to work harder on trying to get my fluids and protein in. I have had some nausea when I drink so he prescribed another med to take before meals. Seems to be working better. Also, switched to Bariatric Advantage chewy bites calcium citrate...MUCH better!

After Monday's surgery, I stayed overnight in the hospital (as planned) and returned home Tuesday afternoon. Felt sooo good to sleep in my own bed without someone waking me every 2 hours to see if I was ok. What little pain meds I've been taking seem to do the trick

That's IT! Today my stomach and I are getting a divorce--I've gone thru all the proceedings and as of today I want you GONE! Take your belongings and all of you little friends (pounds) with you! I'm starting my new life without you NOW! See ya'll on the post op side

Lost another pound today....and expecting to lose some tomorrow too. Liquid diet day...tomorrow is surgery day!!

Survived the last day of the pre-op shake diet!!!!! Liquid diet starts tomorrow---and surgery on MON!

TWO more days on the pre-op diet, 1 on clear liquids ...and then it's bye bye stomach!

THREE! more days of shakes, TWO! days of cleaning, and a day of clear liquids (singing to the tune of "12 days of Christmas")

Today is brought to you by the number FOUR! 4 more days on the shakes (and one day of liquids before surgery) and 4 pounds off the scales finally!

FIVE, 5 more days on the protein shakes and ONE, 1 more day of liquids and surgery June 3! (starting to feel a bit like Count Dracula..ah, ah, ah) LOL
