I completed 3 months last week and literally on my 3rd month mark, my hair started falling. I felt like crying in the shower when clumps fell out. It was horrible. I started taking Biotin and have ordered the Shampoo on Amazon as well. I do hope it works. My entire floor all day is with hair.
Yuck!
When does the hair fall stop?

Hi!
This was my biggest worry before surgery.
I have a 5 year old daughter and a 1.5 year old son who I would have to carry for something or the other. My doc told me 3 months which ends for me next week. I lifted him today for the first time. It's hard when you can't hold them or lift them when they fall.
Try to get someone to help out. 6 weeks isn't that long.
Good luck

Most doctors suggest no carbonated drinks for life. 1 because there are chances of the staple lines getting affected, 2 coz the gas is going to take up all the space in your tiny stomach and 3 because its just very bad. I was addicted to coke Pepsi.. Everything! And in a way I'm happy I had to give it up because let's face it- it's bad for all of us. Sleeve or no sleeve

I was awake in recovery in 45 mins.,.so was my brother who had the surgery exactly a month after me.

Thanks for posting this question. I've been wondering the same. So confused! Because I only eat home cooked food. Not packaged stuff with nutritional values.

Hi! All docs and nutritionists have different plans. My doc's papers say to avoid alcohol for a whole year but I think that's from 'empty calories' point of view. Though lots of ppl on here drink wine few months post.
If you were sleeved just last month, I personally feel its too soon.best to ask your doc

I'm 9 weeks post op. have lost only 26 lbs
Been fine with Protein. Maybe not so good with Water and walking but I try. But isn't 26lbs in 9 weeks too little? I am beginning to feel disheartened about the surgery and that it's not working for me and due to that; I want to cheat all the time
Anyone else feel this way?

I'm in the same boat. I'm 2 months post and I've poly lost 28 lbs. I have been good with Protein but not so good with Water & 30 min walking. But that can't be the reason for such slow weight loss...can it? There are times I actually need to remind myself that I did the surgery. Someone please tell me the weight will go. I've been on the same weight since 3 weeks...grrrr

I could eat salads 1 month post. All docs have different plans. Best to ask your nutritionist

Hey guys
How's everyone doing? I'm from Mumbai, India. Had my surgery 2 months ago and doing very well so far... Not sure If I'm entirely happy with my weight loss though. I've lost a total of 13 kgs in 2 months. And from what I've been reading here so far, ppl loose A LOT more on 8 weeks.
I'm a vegetarian and I am eating mostly Proteins along with having my Isopure Protein shake once a day. Not sure when the weight will drop.
How's everyone else doing?

Hi! I'm 6 weeks post op. my pre surgery weight was 273lbs and today I am 251lbs. Until last week I was 247lbs. How the hell did I put on weight? I'm not doing anything different
Is it possible to put on weight so early on?
I'm so worried and discouraged
Any one gone through the same?

Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing great post op. I am 6 weeks post op and doing well so far. Except I am really bad in having my Protein Shakes. I'm supposed to have 1 scoop everyday but I probably have it just thrice a week????
I've lost a total of 24 lbs. wondering if that's ok and will the amount of Protein I take it, affect my weight loss? I'm a vegetarian and have Beans, lentils etc but there's only this much I can have of it.
Should I be losing more? I haven't lost any weight since 10 days????
Suggestions welcome
Has anyone developed a leak by lifting?

Hey! Don't worry ! You can't get a leak by lifting. The docs say no to lifting only so that your stitches heal. My biggest worry was not being able to carry my 18 month old son or do anything for my 5 year old. It was a no no for 3 months. It passed quickly.
