Diets tried roll call!
I never had to do these silly diets before (no offense), but once I was over 40 I could just not drop the weight by counting calories alone. I had a long checklist on my shrink eval: eDiets Revival soy bars Sensa Green coffee Bean capsules Full Bar,. Full Bar Gummies, Full Bar gum

Wanting to cry
I think what upset me was HOW upset I got. I didn't expect to get so upset....it must be the hormones in my fat cells! I guess it is good that the fat cells are disolving! LOL! Thanks.

Wanting to cry
Thanks for your responses. I will keep up the walking. I think the box of chocolates is a sign of how my family feels about the surgery,,,,which is essentially nothing. They have not thought about it or offered any support. It is of no consequence to them. They all came over to my house with my mom to go out for a big birthday dinner while I ate broth...then brought two cakes back to my house and sat there and ate while I was in my chair, away from the table, in pain. No cards, no phone calls...they even just showed up that day without calling me to tell me what time they were coming. Thanks for validating that it is not "just me"...now you know why I need this board! God bless my in-laws, friends and internet friends. I will just take a walk when the tears come back. Terry

Wanting to cry
Hi all...I am two weeks post op and some times during the day I just want to cry. I haven't really had a good cry, just weepy. Not sure why. Also, my sister-in-law came over and gave me a box of chocolates for when I "reach the solids stage". Really? I was upset at first, but now just want to laugh. I was wacky the entire time they were over. Let me know if there is anything that helps. I found a walk helped that day.

July 2013 Sleevers
That is so sad. I am sorry they did this maybe they were trying not to hurt your feelings when you could not eat? You might want to let them know that next time they can invite you. I sat through my mom's 80th birthday dinner...had the ricotta inside the eggplant and broth. 11 days post op.

- I am giving up on chicken.
Crockpot chicken can be very dry. Even before the sleeve I would make dark meat in the crockpot and cooked on low for 4 hrs. Max. -- and with Iots of Iquid. When you try again, I would go with rotisserie or Boston Market.- Beans and carbs

I have seen little ramekins used to bake eggs with spinache veggies etc. looked good.- Beans and carbs
I love Beans and have read that manysleevers eat them post op in soft phase. They have so many carbs though. Even when you subtract out the Fiber the carbs are usually high 20, 30 or mor grams. Is this ok?- Hate my NUT
