    Hello need help

Sugar free pudding. Scrambled eggs. Cottage cheese...I added a tiny bit of fruit baby food ..which is watered down. Cream of wheat with unflavored protein powder. I added the protein powder to most of my soups too. You can also add a bos of sugar free pudding to 32 oz of plain yogurt. Tastes a little like cheesecake. I would wait another week or two for that, though.
  2. If you don't like your NUT get another one. I really didn't like my first one. Didn't know much about food options and told me that I would be starving myself on this diet after surgery. (and also seemed to relish in the little plate she showed me I should eat off of for the rest of my life!). I saw a different one and she was wonderful! Like night and day. Spent 90 minutes with me. Talked about lots of alternatives and went over what I was eating and how to improve. Very understanding. She even picked up right away that I had sleep apnea which my doctor completely missed.

    What about salad?

I do miss the carbs but I would really love a nice big salad with lots of veggies, Beans, etc. How long before you could have lettuce and raw veggies? Do you find that others who are trying to be helpful think that you can eat salads?

ARG! Food is evil today and restaurants stink!

I am out at a family style brunch right now so I feel your pain. Hope I don't fill up on the couple appetizers. I feel a doggie bag in my future! There still are options and often the chef cook can modify a dish for you. Don't fry, omit an ingredient. I am also ok with throwing out the bread from a sandwich or leaving the lettuce from a salad. Give it a try. I hope this gets be tt er for you.
  9. Has anyone tried Shakeology? I really liked the list of green ingredients, but tried the chocolate and it is really thick and sweet. I know someone who is making these but adding in a lot more liquid (2 cups + ice instead of 1 cup). Of course, if I did that I would add unflavored Protein powder. Anyone with experience???

    Dessert Alternatives?

16 oz or 32 oz container of Greek fat free yogurt mixed with cheesecake SF pudding mix. 16 oz tastes like a thick cheese cake. I like it a bit lighter so I do about 25 oz with one box of pudding mix. Can also add graham cracker crumbs on top or make with chocolate or other flavor of pudding. SF pudding...but adds scoop of Protein powder in each bowl.

Yup..these work for me. Sip one all day, 40g of protein. I drink them cold. You can also get amazon to deliver them by the case.

    starting to get worried

If you like warm protein try the unjury chicken broth Protein Powder .. Also try the unflavored powder. You can mix that into Soup after the soup cools down to below 130 degrees. Isopure clear protein drinks in fruit flavors available through GNC or Amazon really helped me the first few weeks. Much lighter than the shakes. I would just sip one all day. That was 40g of protein. It does get better.

    July 2013 Sleevers

39 lbs! 49 including Pre-op! That is awesome! I was 7/17 and down 30 since surgery and 35 w/ Pre-op. I do feel it is a little slow...but I could have never done this without the sleeve. We just need to stay focused and keep on working at it!
