My dr asks for a two week liquid diet and I in the middle of the first week and sucking so bad! Any tips??

I'm not doing too badly on the pre-op diet today. I called my NUT and found out I can have yogurt and chicken broth. Thank Goodness because I was DYING! I have two small children so I mommy needs some sort of energy! I am having an EGD tomorrow though.

I'm scheduled on July 8th as well. I'm originally from Missouri too, but now I live in Texas.

My date is July 8th. So excited except for the liquid diet. Anyone else on the 8th?

My doctor recommended not doing the carnation instant breakfasts. I found a great protein powder that is delicious. Syntrax Matrix. yummy!

I just called and they told me to call back tomorrow. I talked to a super nice lady. Not even five minutes later she called me back! I'm APPROVED! I started crying. Wow.

I called again about 1:30 and they said they just received it. They are annoying me. I'm calling again now.

I am 23 too. I am currently awaiting insurance approval. I'm scheduled on July 8th and I can't wait.

I called today and they said it was in the final stages. I asked if I could call back later on today to get the final answer and she said probably not until the end of the week. Arghhh! Waiting sucks. lol. I'm still gonna call back and see though.

My surgeons office submitted to BCBS federal for approval this past monday. I thought that jumping through all the hoops would be the hardest part and that is just so not the case. I hate waiting. I have never wanted it to be Monday so badly! I am hoping to hear some good news on Monday! Last week when we submitted for approval, they asked for a tentative surgery date so hopefully that means good things.

I start a CNA class and my second term of prerequisites for nursing school on Monday! At the end of this term, I can apply to nursing school. I am so excited. Still waiting on insurance approval for surgery though. We thought I was finished with everything but I have one more nutritional meeting in June and then we can submit to my secondary insurance. Woohoo.
