Has anyone started taking Biotin & if so did you see an increase in your weight loss? I know its for hair & nails but I also read that it promotes your metabolism.. Is this true & how many mcg's do you take I see they have them from 300 to 10000 mcg's..??

Abdominal binder?? What's that? Like a mid section workout brace or spanks? I have pain there as well & I return to work next week, but haven't heard of this.. I need to get one of these ASAP...

Tomorrow it will be 2 weeks since my surgery & early on I told myself I'm gonna stay off the scale because I don't want the #'s to play wit my mind or become a slave to the scale... Well TODAY I broke that promise to myself & got on the scale a few times today & I sure regret it.. I think I'm gonna put it away in the garage outta site outta mind right..

LAST NITE I finally home from the hospital in Dallas after 10 hrs in ER Tues night they kept me & admitted me at 2 am Wed. What they found after several tests the Stabbing pain on my right side where there are no stitches was Atelectasis a lil collapsed lung tissue & /lil pneumonia (gave me antibiotics) No pulmonary embolism or Gallblatter issuses which is great news. I'm gonna be ok.. No pains meds for it at discharge just have to deal wit it & will go away on its own... Ok doky Ouch.

Thanks so much I woke up yesterday am wit that stabbings pain, I thought I was getting better then this... Today is my 1 week post op. So I will surly ask if he thinks its that & go head & do an ultrasound TODAY. & I asked the doctor before surgery if he saw an issues wit gallstones to go head & remove... I didn't want to have surgery the have to come right back for another. He said everything looked good then. So this means longer recovery, more pain, more anesthesia huh.. I just want the pain to go away.... I haven't even weighted myself after surgery due to all the bloat & all.. Thanks so much foe this info, I was thinking embolism & everything else but the gallbladder because it was aol soon after surgery...

Right that is a lil weird especially when they made us go to all those nutrition classes & drilled in our heads about all 3 stages & how IMPORTANT it is not to rush your new stomach & eat soft or solid foods to fast... So he just basically told you to skip stage 2 all together Wow... Well he is the DOC.. lol so what are you gonna do? I go tomorrow for my 1 week post op I wonder what's he's gonna say.... Prayers are wit you girl..

This Tues the 26th was surgery day, been walking a lot but today when walking I caught a cramp, but that same leg & ankle have been swollen for the past 2 days.. Don't know if its a clot or just a walking cramp??

How do you know the difference while walking if you simply have a cramp in your calf muscle or a blood clot? I'm not in terrible pain but don't want it to get worst either.. Or do blood clots not show any early signs?
