Katia...i'm also 3day postop and everything u wrote is exactly what im going thru. I feel a lot better today.using my heat pad and walking as much as I can. I had a sharp pain on my left side last night but I think it was either gas or my incision. I feel swollen still so i'm afraid to get on scale and see that I gained. May just wait until next week to weigh in. what r u eating? I drink Water and only half a popsicle a day!!!

I'm the same way, I was sleeved on the 21 and only seem to be able to sip a half cup of chicken broth and a couple popsicles and a little Crystal light, but I was able to sleep on my side a lil bit last night. But today I seem a tad bit hungry not sure what to do. I'm scared to try anything any suggestions please!!!!

I went for my pre surgical VSG appointment today and everything is all set for March 29 (Good Friday) I'm excited but now that I know it's a week away I am getting nervous!! What liquids are your new best friends now that the pre surgery liquid diet has begun?? Lol

Has anyone written a letter/letters to loved ones' date=' incase something were to happen during surgery?? I am a mother of three young children and started a letter to my husband and children just explaining exactly why I am having the surgery and how much I love them and everything like that. I know that this may seem like a terrible adea to some...I almost feel like I am going into it with bad expectations, but in all reality I don't feel like that at all, I honestly feel that God knows it isnt my time to go because he knows how much I need my family and how much they need me aswell, so he wouldn't take me from this at this point in time. ok, now I just sound crazy right? haha. Well I just couldn't stand the thought of something happening to me and not having something like this for them. [/quote']

Wow im not the only one I taped mine with my one year old so just in case.... she could see me telling her how much I love her. It was very hard and yes I did cry but I think it was best for me and her..

I am being sleeved around the same time my check in time is 7:30 am, excited and scared as well please keep me posted and I well do the same.. good luck with becoming a new you. You are in my prayers

Omg my surgery is in less than 24hrs and I cant stop the tears from falling, I have never felt like this before, but all excited at the same time...HELP

Fabulous Katia! I was sleeved at 9:00 am and only minor pain. Surgery went great. I am damn thirsty though! I hope everyone else is doing great as well.

Im praying for you to have a great recovery, my new me day is Thursday 21, so excited and scared all at the same time. Did you follow the liquid diet exactly???

Nice. I agree. I'm.in day 5 of my liquid diet' date=' and it's going well. I've had a bit of head hunger. Also working through different brands of Protein Shakes. Found one I love and one that is just nasty.
