Do you watch"fat doctor" on Hulu?- Need your help - Recipe's
Hello everyone, I am in big need of your help. I am not much of a cooker and I am having a hard time finding things to eat. I was sleeved on April 1, 2013. I am currently on soft food, I find myself eating tuna, chicken with cooked veggies, sardines, jello and Popsicles most of the time .. Oh I did make that ricotta back once (lasted all week). I am down 45 pounds (including pre-op) but the scale has not really moved since surgery. Am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions? Thanking you all in advance!!- April 1 - 10 day Post Op checkup

Its been 10 days post op for me and I am so happy that I did it. I feel a big difference already!- April 1 - 10 day Post Op checkup
Hello Everyone!! I went for my 10 day post op evaluation and Dr. Sherman at Methodist Hospital, Houston, TX, and he states that I am doing great!! Starting Weight 384 Surgery Weight 364 Current Weight 341 Down 43 pounds!! I use to have bad pain in my feet before surgery and I noticed that it has stopped. I have more energy and not as sleepy as I use to be. I am also told that I have stopped snoring!! Lol, what a difference a few days make!!- 382lbs!
Awesome job!- Freaking Out....is this normal 13 days pre-op
You will be fine! Being 6'2" 384 pounds, believe me when I say that I thought there was no way I was going to complete a 14day pre op liquid ONLY diet. I bought shakes, Gatorade, etc, etc and I did not look back. Like people stated in other threads, after the third day, I didn't focus on not eating, but just drinking my shakes, Water etc on my schedule. My body told me when I was hungry and I had a drink. Jello and Popsicles were/are great and helped me. The days leading up to surgery, there was one moment were I almost lost it and wanted to give up. I had told friends, coworkers and family that I was having surgery and I thought what if I failed, what if I eat the wrong thing, what if the weight don't fall off? But then I heard a whisper that said, look at how far I have brought you.. In your pre-op diet, you lost 14 pounds. You are already doing great! He is in control and you will do just fine. Use the tool and I will see you at your goal line! My surgery was on 4/1. After coming home, I was weighing myself daily, but I had to stop. I will weigh myself again on Monday, but I do know the last weigh in was 355 which is 29 pounds down. You can do it!- New to the site!
I'm sleeved!! 2 days post op and I am back at home resting. Out of everything I have to deal with, I would say the gas is the most difficult. - Food Network / Cooking Channel
