liquid diet
I had emergency surgery so only had 5 days but had to do clear liquids during that time, beginning when I left my surgery appt

Sugar free popsicles? Someone posted they count as 2 oz of water.

Piece of cake!
I had a hernia, band removal and the sleeve. I was in the hospital for three days and although I had discomfort after I was home, it didn't require any pain meds.

Swallowing pills post op
I have pills I take everyday and have since I got home from the hospital.

2 months Out&Standing Still
I sent my scale away! It was evil to me. I had stalled for 3 weeks and was very depressed until I tried on a side smaller pair of capris and they were too big!!! Don't go by the scales, just keep up the good work. This is your way of life now, enjoy it!

1 week post op! Woot woot!/ anyone from the kc area?
I am 3 months and still can't eat potatoes in any form but that is alright because I had the band for 6 yrs and had not one salad so now I have a salad every day!

Drains
I didn't have a drain!

Doesnt seem real
I am 3 months out and still have to set my phone alarm to remind me to eat. If I don't get up right then, I hear the NEXT alarm 3 hrs later and then try to play catch up all day. I love it! Such a problem to have

Surgery Over 50
I had a vevision to the sleeve in March of this year. Was banded at age 57 and will be 63 in October. I feel fantastic!!

insurance approver
My insurance paid for the band removal and hernia repair but since my coverage doesn't cover any bariatrics, I paid for the sleeve.

Surgery Day Nerves
Surgery is a big deal and you have every right to be scared. Just put your trust in the doctor and hospital, take deep calming breaths. We are all here for you. Let us know how you are doing as soon as you can.

Can we eat
I have two tablespoons of natural chunky and I put it in a bowl and snack on it with a baby spoon. It is a really good go to snack for me.
