  1. Sooooo.....in approved for puréed foods, and I'm putting hydration first......but I am NOT getting in enough protein. Premier Protein has made me nauseous! Help/ideas/suggestions welcomed!
  2. Thank you so much for responding everyone! I have heard that I'll be too groggy to use it, but I will bring it just to FaceTime the kiddos
  3. Why do the hospital people keep warning me about not bringing valuables?? Is it really that dangerous? I don't remember this when I had kids. Have any of you had something stolen from the hospital? I really want my iPad there.
  4. Thank you for the prayers! I will pray for all of you as well. My Dr is Dr Rao with Advanced Surgery Group. I'm excited! I live far so we'll be leaving the house at 5am though.
  5. Yay!!!! You will be fine! Praying for you!
  6. I have a MAJOR head cold!!! Praying I don't develop a fever. With 4 kiddos timing is everything!
  7. Please let us know how surgery goes! I feel the same, and mine is Friday. Praying I don't have a fever! Have the best of luck and blessings in your surgery day!!!
  8. Great info! I LOVE the premixed Premier protein in vanilla, but HATE the chocolate! I wonder if they would take that back!?
  9. I have 7 days of liquids. I read that Chinese medicine teaches that anger, hostility, and resentment are stored in the liver, so those feelings mean that we are doing things right! It may all be BS, but it helped me get through the day, so maybe it will help you too
  10. Hello ladies! I'm March 29th in Jacksonville, Florida! I have a YouTube BuriedBombshell. I recorded my Hcg journey, but haven't decided if I will share my VSG journey just yet. SOOOO glad to have some Sleeve Sisters! Let's K.I.T! PS- how is everyone doing on their pre-op diet?
  11. I'm having this done on 3/29. It's WAY better to get it all done at once in my opinion. The doc will already be in there. Don't worry. You'll be in my prayers! PS- what is your pre-op diet like because I'm STARVING!
  12. My surgery will be done at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville on the 29th! The support groups are on Mondays. So if this hospital is closer, let me know. We can also have meet ups for a few if us and share tiny meals when our tummies are healed!
  13. I have it. You would need a fourth shake though to make sure you're getting enough protein in. I'm alternating these with premiere protein premix shakes.
  14. Well..."like" is a strong word. Today was day 1 of 7 for me. I have premier protein, and the Nectar Fuzzy Naval (tried first time today). This isn't fun, but I'm still alive. My husband just brought home SF Jello cups, and that tastes like heaven right now!
  15. I'll be sleeved 3/29, an I must say this sounds SO STRANGE!!!! A pickle flavored shaved ice!?! Guess I better have some on hand just in case, lol!
  16. More women also go to the doctor and are more likely to seek medical intervention overall.
  17. Can we have alcohol during the liquid diet phase. I don't need a lecture, I'm just curious. My 1-week starts Friday.
  18. Wow...great info! Especially since I live 1.5 hours from my hospital. I won't be driving, but I'll be sure to get out and walk around a bit along the way! PS-Congrats on getting your date!!!
