  1. Hello Everyone! I was sleeved at Memorial Hospital by Dr. Roa. I was told not to track food. No hard core calorie/carb numbers. What are the plans you all were given?
  2. Just to let you know...I read about LOTS of people who barely used their meds, then I needed mine for 12 days. Everyone is different. I had my gall bladder put at the same time and it was really bad, so that might have made a difference.
  3. Ugh! That's the absolute worse part. Well, the preop diet is the WORST. It gets SOOOOO much better though!
  4. A few of us March 2013 sleevers want to do an Orlando meetup this summer (I'm 2 hours away), so PM me and I will let you know where and when
  5. You DO look like you've had a nose job! Awesome! I love your makeup too BTW
  6. Mine didn't give me a calorie guideline either. Most eat anywhere between 600-1200 calories while losing. On the bright side, you will always be able to meet your protein goals!!! I'm sorry you found this out the way you did. It is frustrating. But thank god he didn't cut through scar tissue and leave you with months of hospital stays and leaks! You can do this!
  7. You said a lot of important things. But as I'm readings through this thread, I just wanted to mention that I'm a Caribbean who married a southern boy too . Okay, back to reading the rest of this thread, hehe.
  8. How many calories are you eating per day?
  9. Lol! I bought the cocktail sauce and strawberry spread, but I was too afraid to try them, lol....might donate to the kid's food drive after reading these reviews!
  10. Are you supposed to be avoiding all carbs also, or are good carbs ok?
  11. Yay! The "eat by" is what I was worried about.
  12. I'm in Florida and looking for these too. No Kroger or HEB here
  13. You can just put the user name where it requests the email address.
  14. Ugh! I don't understand either!!!
  15. I had more than 80 pounds to lose for sure, but if anything I admire those who did this before they had more to lose and MORE health problems. Plus, the hard part is KEEPING the weight off. We all know that. This will help them do that! It sounds like you are just jealous that younger, fitter people are changing their lives and not wasting 10-20 years cycling. This site is for support an encouragement, not for hurting other people while you work out your personal issues. I have some great connections in the counseling field. Please feel free to message me if you would like a reference.
