  1. I'm glad I read the OP ... I wouldn't have had any idea to be worried if I had "flu like symptoms" and know that it might have to do with surgery complications. So thank you for posting your sisters story. Some say there was no reasoning behind it - I learned something. *Because the OP only had the one post, has no relevance to this being a "dodgy" post ... She wasn't researching the VST she wanted to inform people who were what can happen.
  2. Where do u buy the chicken & unflavoured one? Is it online only or in GNC? I'm flying into the states and will look out for them.
  3. Hahaha ... Yep I think it was! Alma was excited when I told her I would forward what she said into here .. If u didn't see she said "nicer, quieter & more equipped" x
  4. I think once you see your new body emerging you'll want to go to the gym and sculpt your new sexy body!! X
  5. Hi people, my surgery date is may 11 in Mexico. Im flying from New Zealand and trying to get organised. Are those little Soup sachets a good idea until I get back on nz ground? I thought they would be good for liquids for hotel rooms & the plane - only needing a kettle. I will be eating healthier once I get home! These were just to help get me through. Is that a good idea?? And I'm going to add the lentils & chicken to some veggies and stock in a slow cooker for the purée stage. I'm not a fan of Protein drinks so I need to get any protein I can from foods. In nz we don't have unflavoured Protein powder so I will stock up while I'm there. Thanks for any input you may have! ????
  6. I think it will be WAY easier to share after I've had the surgery. I'm very open and I'm sick of the "you're going where?!" (Mexico) and people thinkin I've just googled & booked on a whim. After tho, when people ask I will gladly tell them. It may even help someone else who can't afford to have it done here in nz ($17,000)
  7. Thanks Carol! Last week I heard (from children) a single guy was told "no, you don't want her she's quite fat" .... I am obese and have fought for 10/15 years against my weight issues & I'm tired ... I think this tool sounds like exactly what I need - I can't wait! x
  8. Thank you Carol .. I'm 3 weeks away now and not panicking so much anymore ????
  9. It's not poisonous now! We found the anti venom!
  10. Come to think of it when I had my wisdom teeth out 20+ years ago I think I threw up in the car on the way home. Ok I'll ask for anything they can hand out - to be prepared for what may come - thank you! & that's great numbers - well done!
  11. I am choosing the spider incision for my surgery May 11th .... I haven't had children and I'm a low BMI so (hopefully) won't have excess saggy skin. I have reactions to stitches & bandages so 1 going bad inside my belly button is preferable to 4/5 all over my stomach. My areolas look like they were seen on by a blind monkey because of the complications I had - less is more for me!
  12. I had plain scar reducing tape on after my breast reduction an after 10 hours wanted to rip my nipples off!! I was so itchy! But I'm generally fine w regular bandaids ...
  13. Thanks everyone - I'm feeling very confident in my switch to Florence ... I leave for my trip 3 weeks today!
