Oh my lol i understand your plight unfortunately. I bought a scale at cvs (for $10) and every time I weigh it's a different amount. This morning just to make sure I wasn't losing it and stepped on and off of it 3 times and got 3 different numbers.... From 266 to 274

Did another 2.63 miles today for a total of 6.71 miles thus far :-)

Congrats on your surgery, I didn't have a drain so can't comment on that, my incisions were soar for about 6 days. Take your pain meds.

I eat bauducco whole wheat toast, each slice has 35 calories, 5.7 grams carbs. The serving size is 3 slices but I can only eat 1. It comes toasted.

That doesn't look normal, none of my incisions were round like that, they looked like little vertical lines and I didn't have one there. Can they stitch it shut? It looks like an open wound at this point. Maybe the location of it is causing the issue?

Just curious how people are doing with their SCARS' date=' I am getting the regular 5-6 incisions and am scared of the SCARS. Just need a little reassurance that its not that bad!? I already bought coco-butter and bio-oil and am looking into Scar away silicone Patches. Any other advice? I really am not looking forward to the scars!!! I relly don't want them holding me back from a possible bikini:)How long until fully faded?[/quote']It's not that bad, plus it sure as heck beats stretch marks. I'm dark chocolate complexion and my incisions are flat and barely noticeable. I have to search for them when I want to moisturize them and I only use Vaseline. Also there coming closer together as the weight comes off... But again scars from this surgery are nothing compared to scars from breast cancer, amputations from diabetes, triple bypass heart surgeries and the likes!

I've hit a wall and I hate it! Football Sunday in my home is huge! Everyone's eating have fun and my favorite cool ranch Doritos haunting me. :/. I had just finished a shake and walked past the chips. I thought just one. So I ate it. Only problem' date=' I took about three handful. My family understood was very support, but I cried. Not cause I cheated, but because I really hit me, I need this surgery! As scared as I am, I need this. Could use some positive people who understand me, cause my family God love them don't.[/quote']You're going to be ok dear but you have to understand your relationship with food. What made you grab those Doritos, what were you feeling before you grabbed those Doritos? How did you feel while they were in your hands? Your mouth? After you ate them? What did you gain by eating them...how did you feel after eating them? Did you enjoy that feeling? What could you have done differently?
Don't beat yourself up, there's a reason you need this surgery. The bad news is, there's going to be tempting Doritos post op too. The good news is, you don't have to reach for everything your head wants to eat. You choose what you want to eat, how you want to feel, the pros the cons etc.
Overcoming additions are challenging but if I did it, I promise you can do it too. I use to eat chocolate everyday sometimes 3x a day. Post op I don't have any desire for it but I asked myself questions, weigh the pros and cons...and ultimately set my standards. You can do it!

I can't remember exactly but I think it's because the red and purple color additives stains or can mimic blood...

This was one of the things I was worried about during my research phase. To my surprise, I found a few articles online about when who experienced this. Some sort of rear genetic disorder caused it. I remember one lady had to eat 15,000 calories per day to maintain her weight!
I hope this is not what you're experiencing! Try googling it. I'm pretty sure they had the bypass though but I supposed it could happen with the sleeve as well.
Good luck

To the OP' date=' if you want something crunchy, maybe try some roasted edamame. A fourth if a cup has 14 gms of Protein and they are crunchy goodness! I'm having my first bowl since the surgery (well a very tiny bowl) and they are very satisfying and filling, and good for you.[/quote']Have you tried curried edamame? Omg a lil olive oil, a lil curry powder, black pepper, old bay seasoning, toss edamame in that and throw in the oven for about 20 mins! Yummy yum yum :-P

Sometimes they use glue to close the incisions maybe that's what he was talking about?

Cool - my guess of 30-31 was pretty close. Everyone should try out the RealAge app and report back what it tells them about their age.Going forward, I'll be saying I'm 360 months old lol

At two weeks out you should be crushing pills, maybe putting it in applesauce like half an ounce? To be honest with you I was so shocked by all that you're attempting to eat and the whole sausage thing that I stopped reading lol but yes try crushing the pills.

I am getting so fed up and really low. I am 3+ months out and still having chronic diarrhea whenever I eat much of anything. Cant do whey or soy without diarrhea and nausea. NUT has taken me off almost all dairy due to lactose intolerance. So pretty much leaves me meat' date=' meat, and more meat!! I get 60g a day of Protein and try to keep up on my Water but so tired of diarrhea and so tired of meat! Breakfast is really hard because I'm not a morning eater anyway, but there's not much choice that's breakfast-like, and whatever I do eat generally causes tummy distress. NUT recommended Weight Control oatmeal but you've gotta mix it with something, and soy milk and 1% milk causes the diarrhea. Can't even think about eggs early in the am. I'm starting to wonder if all the Vitamins are contributing. I can't seem to get a handle on the diarrhea even though I've cut like EVERYTHING out. So tired of this and really hope the lactose intolerance goes away like many here have said. Anyone have any ideas what else I can do? BTW, on top of all that, losing VERY slowly!! [/quote']I've developed lactose intolerance too and I eat weight control oatmeal for breakfast about 3 days out of the week. You can mix it with Water. I usually get the banana bread flavor.
Whats the deal with bread?

My nutritionist said I can have bread as long as it's toasted. Toasted bread is easier on the stomach and is dissolved quickly. I buy bread that's already toasted. The brand is bauducco, it has 35 calories/ slice, 5.7 grams of carbs and .8 grams of fat. I put Peanut Butter on it or eat it with tuna salad.< /p>
