  1. I woke up with a sore throat this morning, surgery coming up on Tuesday. I figured it will have run its course by then, but just in case I called my surgeon's office to see if they had any suggestions to speed up healing to make sure I'm good to go. They took it really seriously and now I'm stuck waiting to find out if my dr is going to postpone surgery!!!!! It's driving me crazy, I feel so prepared to do this on Tuesday; I will be devastated if I have to wait ;-( Sorry just needed to vent, will keep you guys updated.
  2. I'm trying to stock up before my surgery next week and I wanted to do sort of an informal poll. What flavor of Isopure (or the nectar brand that everyone's always talking about) did you find most tolerable right after surgery? TIA!!
  3. I saw a bunch of you on the March sleevers thread and I figured since the March 19th people had their own thread then we should too I got pre-oped this morning and had to pay an insane copay so I feel like this is all getting very real! How's everyone else holding up? Also, GOOD LUCK to the March 19th sleevers!!!!
  4. My post-op instructions say I can have sex, exercise, whatever I want to do as soon as I feel up to it. It's hard to imagine feeling amorous too soon after my gut gets ripped open, lol!
  5. Does anyone remember what lab work their surgeon did pre-op? My pre-op appt is tomorrow (surgery 3/26) and I'm worried my labs could be too out of whack for surgery!! So I'm trying to figure out what they will actually be testing for so I can reassure myself that there's no reason to be worried. TIA!
  6. I'm on the 26th too. I'm also worried about my 4yo daughter. She still likes me to pick her up and carry her when she's tired, will be hard to explain that I can't for awhile I'm getting sleeved in the states (OK) but as I understand its about half price. My doctor does sleeves for $9995 not including pre-op testing, and I understand Mexico is about $4500-$5500. So a big difference if its out of pocket, but I would be scared to not have post op follow up
  7. I finally got my date, and it looks like I'll be a March sleever after all!! I'm getting geared up for the 26th. Good luck to all the March 5th people!!!
