    Am I dehydrated?

Thanks everyone for your replies. I guess 50 ounces isn't enough *sigh* Tomorrow I will work towards...80. Ugh....this is a full time job getting everything I need down. But, I want to feel better.

    Am I dehydrated?

Okay I guess, easily tired though. It just freaks me out that I'm drinking so much, and where's it going?? And yes I think is more dark than light.

    Food porn!

Yes! Been stuck on the food network all day lol! Drive-ins, diners, and dives is the worst, or the best depending on how you look at it.

  14. I actually went and made a separate list for any statuses related to my wls. I chose people on my fb that I trusted as well as close family members that already knew. Good luck!

    Whereabouts? I'm in Forked River.
  17. Also you probably won't be able to eat all the protein jello cups they give you, if I were you I would save them for when you come home in the first phase of your diet.
  18. Ty! Let's see, my initial appointment was January 21st, did all my stuff by April, received approval mid-April, and had my surgery scheduled May 21st. So essentially, it took me 4 months. Hospital stay was good, I was on the 4th floor, had a private room with my own shower. I was only there for 2 nights, he left it up to me if I wanted to stay a third night. But I wanted to go home. The only thing that I didn't seem ready for, was the level of pain and discomfort I was in when I first woke up. I don't know why I thought any different, but the first day and night really sucked. I was given dilaudid (morphine) drip for the pain but that began to my new nauseous and dry heave....which sucked. In the morning they gave me something milder for the pain and I was fine. The next day I felt way better, the day after that better, and everyday since I am getting closer to feeling 100%. Also, I've lost 26 pounds since my pre-op diet, and I've moved on to stage 3 of the diet. So just remember everyday gets better! And good luck!!
  19. Why yes I was on May 21st! Everything went very well, I have no complaints about him.

May sleevers! How much have you lost so far?

Hi everyone! I was sleeved on May 21st. My highest weight: 348.5 Lost 49 on my own, gained 17 back. Weight before pre-op diet: 317 Lost 10 pounds on pre-op: 307 Current weight: 291 So I lost 26 pounds with pre-op And 16 post-op And 57.5 total. . Happy dance
  22. Today was difficult for me. I am 8 days post-op, and I guess I've been trying too hard and pushing myself too much to get back doing everything I did before. The truth is I am easily exhausted now and have almost no energy to do anything. Because of this I was feeling <insert whatever random feeling that causes you to eat> and began taking bites of any food that crossed my path. I am very fortunate that I have not suffered any nausea post op so I can tolerate most foods thus far. Of course I realize how bad a behavior this is, because honestly it was this type of behavior that got me where I am, except on a much larger scale than just a bite. I guess old habits die hard. However I do find it challenging to cook meals and prepare food for my family without sampling, especially since I can no longer eat what I am making for them.
