  1. I have a 3 ring binder that I keep everything in! Same thing, how muc I've paid, all appointments everything!!! I don't go anywhere without my book!!!
  2. My Dr. will remove the gallbladder when he does the surgery because of issued after WLS. Luckily, mine's been gone for 10 years.
  3. I'm currently 1 week in on a 2 week liquid diet! Started the diet the day I started my period! I feel you girl!! I'm not pre op yet, but I'm also emotional all over the place!!!!!!!!!!! I snap at everybody!! I went off on a guy yesterday on the phone because he couldn't understand what I wanted! I'm still on my Prozac though. My Dr. hasn't said anything about weaning me off it. So, all I can say is STAY STRONG!!!!
  4. Yeah, wouldn't hurt to give them a call.
  5. And of all days, on my birthday! My husband picks on me and says I don't need them, he can tell them I'm crazy! HAHA! Hope it goes ok. I guess I'm just nervous that he'll tell me I'm not ready, even though I've never been so sure about anything in my whole life! And that includes giving birth to my son!!!
  6. No nausea here, but I can't stay out of the bathroom!! I have had diarrhea since I've started!
  7. I'm doing liquid but not for pre op yet and I've eaten food too!! I would say buckle down and try not to eat any more! Believe me, I know how hard it is!!!!!!
  8. My doc says no abdominal exercises for 2 months post op, but every Dr. is different.
  9. I started mine the morning I had my gallbladder removed. I didn't have the mesh panties. I had to "hold" the pad between my legs while trying to get over to the table.
  10. I laid off the red jello and things are back to normal!! I'm not actually doing the diet for pre op yet. Just to kinda jump start my weight loss.
  11. I apologize in advance if this is TMI, but I'm on day 3 of liquid diet. I've been eating alot of red jello and am now having very red bowel movements. It looks like I'm bleeding to death!! Someone please tell me this has happened to them and it's the dye in the jello!!!
  12. I have frequent diarrhea also. I haven't have my RNY yet, but I have to watch what I eat. We no longer have a gallbladder that drips bile in your stomach, it just dumps. My Dr. suggested taking a fiber pill every day. He said it almost does the opposite of what it really is supposed to do. It will soak up the bile. My mom had a colostomy bag and she also had to take fiber for the same reason.
  13. I'm on day 3, and I have had the trots since I started this!! I haven't weighed, so I have no idea if I've lost or gained. I'm not having any stomach pains, but boy am I going to the bathroom!!!!
  14. I just keep thinking, it could have been ALOT worse than just a sandwich!!! I am so looking forward to this tool!
  15. I'm on day 3. I will have to follow a strict calorie diet for 3 months, then do another 2 week liquid prior to surgery. I'm looking for surgery in mid-late June.
  16. I don't have a surgery date yet, but I'm already nervous. My Dr. has started me out with a 2 week liquid diet. I already had my "food funeral". Eating whatever I wanted and eating all the places I wanted to. I also felt horrible afterwards, but I honestly don't regret doing it. It was like a last "hurrah" before it's all over!
  17. Thank you so much for posting! I'm making myself read both bad and good stories, just so I can say I know what I'm getting into. But, thank you again for your encouraging words!
  18. My son had to take it for constipation about a month ago. I finally mixed it in with Kool Aid and I was able to get him to drink it that way. It took him about 1/2 hour, but he got it all down. The Dr. told me I could mix it with juice too.
  19. I feel horrible! I was fixing my son a bologna sandwich and of all things, set me off! I couldn't stop myself!! I had scarfed it down before I had a chance to stop myself! I feel so bad. If I can't do 2 days on a liquid diet, what makes me think I can do this? Then I have to stop myself. Everybody slips up. It's not the end of the world right????
  20. I haven't had a soda since March 15! It was HARD, but I knew I it was going to have to happen, so I quit cold turkey! I did have a "food funeral" of sorts. I had mexican, chinese, local root beer stand, local italian place, and some of my favorite homemade foods. I will have one more to go in May when I have my sisters biscuit and gravy.
  21. You can really tell it in your face!! WTG!!!!!!
  22. I bought one of those shaker cups with the metal whisk ball in it. That's what I've been using to mix it.
  23. I tried the Fuzzy Navel last night and dumped it! But I think maybe after I shake it up, I'll put in the fridge to settle down. It was foamy, and that bothered me. Maybe once they are settled, I can drink them.
  24. Thanks a million! Will try that tonight!!!!!
  25. Hey SoccerMomma, question! Would it help with the chocolate ones if I mix up and put in the fridge for a while? I'm really digging this lemonade, but I only had the one sample! Gotta figure out something else till I can order some!
