I'm in a stall too so I know how frustrated you are. I'm at the point of feeling like this just isn't working for me. My surgery was 3/14. I was down 22 lbs by 3/31 but since then I've gained back 3 pounds. I'm taking in around 700 calories. I tried a couple days increasing it to 900 but that didn't break the stall. I'm getting in 65-75g Protein and at least 64oz liquid. I'm also walking 3.5 miles. Last night I had a huge meltdown. I don't know what's wrong with me.

I appreciate this thread. I've completely stalled too. My surgery was March 14th. I was down 22 pounds but this week I actually gained 3. Not sure how that happens. I've upped my walking to 3 miles a day and today I got in 90g Protein and increased my calories to 900. I had been getting in 65g protein and my calorie count has been @ 500. Hope this works!! I've been logging my food daily on MFP.

Drinking that much Water would have me throwing up all day. I guess i failed to mention thats not all i drink during the day. If its not the Water it is usually a diet green tea which i drink every other day.
Water by itself now makes me nauseous and i refuse to sweeten everything up..
Make sense?
And i have no reason to be mad at you.:-)
Try orange Vitamin water zero or crystal light. They aren't sweet. I also put a lemon in my water to help with the taste. I hate plain water too.

My doctor said to get in a pool and swim laps. I had my two week post op today and that was his recommendation. Thankfully I have access to a community pool. I also bought the Palmers Cocoa Butter lotion for weight loss/stretch marks. Hopefully they work.

Tonight' date=' my fiancé and my 11 yr old are going to see Olympus Has Fallen! (my sons first R rated movie :/ )I'm going to be around all kinds of yummy food and tempting things. I'm full liquids so I think I'll sneak in a Protein shake that's I'm a ziploc bag of ice, and some Water. I'm so nervous! But my fiancé has been cooped up in the house with me for days and I want to treat him to some time out.
I can do it! I hope lol[/quote']
I went out last night for the first time. Saw same movie, it was awesome! We went to dinner. It was somewhat depressing to look at the menu knowing I could only order Soup. I know that wont last forever. I did take a large purse and had a Vitamin Water zero. It was hard hearing everybody munch in their popcorn. That was my old routine. But it was good to get out.

So I had a question and was curious what all of your thoughts were on it:As a Firefighter/EMT we cannot always plan our meals exactly. Just the other day I missed what would be my lunch time' date=' because of a actual structure fire. My concern is what is going to happen if I miss my meal and I do heavy physical activity such as fighting a fire or trying to extricate someone from a car accident? Will I pass out or what? Also are there any firefighters or emts out there who have had to deal with this issue? And not the 2 week post op. I'm talking 6 months, 1 year, and so on.[/quote']
My husband is an EMT and he never leaves the house without a little cooler. He usually has PB&J and always a shaker with Protein powder in it that he can add Water to. He also takes bananas so he can get potassium if he's on a long call. He said he's lost without his cooler. It goes straight in his rig so he's never without it on a call.

I feel like I'm losing sooooo incredibly slow. But I've never been able to say I've lost 26 pounds in 2 months so I'm trying to stay positive. I must admit I haven't been super diligent about working out. I eat approx 700 calories a day. I'm having a bit of a hard time adjusting to food. Still learning what my new stomach won't throw up. Yuck. I recommend taking photos. When you aren't seeing progress on the scale, it helps to see inches lost (unfortunately I didn't take my measurements so I've been using photos).
