  1. I'm on my liquid diet and slowly packing. I'm trying to only pack a few things a day so I don't get ahead of myself. I'm stopping in AZ to visit friends for a few days on my way to Mexico so I'm packing for two trips.
  2. Once you are dehydrated, it can be hard to rehydrate on water alone is what I’ve always been told. I have chronic migraines and once I start throwing up, I can’t stop and get dehydrated and end up at urgent care or the er every time with dehydration. You very likely need iv fluids. Drink gatorade or something with electrolytes while you wait.
  3. I'm July 1st too, in Mexico.
  4. They can do a gallbladder function test if it still seems like gallbladder pain. I think they have you drink a dye? Have you tried that test yet?
  5. Thank you! Best of luck with your surgery too. Prayers for a smooth, successful surgery and a thin and healthy outcome. Yes, it has been rough but the town will rebuild and things will get back to normal. I’m just thankful none of my family was injured. I would love to keep in touch. Best wishes!
  6. I hope you find out what is wrong. That doesn’t sound fun. Keep us up to date.
  7. That's awesome. Congrats on your hard work and well deserved success.
  8. I'm having surgery July 1st. I will be going to Mexico though.
  9. I'm having surgery July 1st. I'm 31 years old and 5'1" and weigh 195. I'm about a size 12 or loose 14. Nobody believes I weigh what I do. I have a strong family history of diabetes, arthritis, and high blood pressure. I don't want any of that. Only one person in my family is really obese besides me. I'm the only fat cousin, sister, daughter, etc. Because I'm so short, I would love to be a size 4 or smaller!!!! I'm worried about loose skin and loosing my boobs 38 dd. but, I saved for this surgery so I will start saving again for plastics I guess. It's so great to hear everyone's success stories. I hope an pray I will be a success story too!!!
  10. Awesome. I hope it works. You will have to let me know. I’m curious too. I found those at work and didn’t have time to email them. My surgery is July 1 in Mexico.

  13. Drink something other than Water like Gatorade or pedialite. You can also mix them half with water to dilute them. Often, if you are dehydrated, just drinking water won't rehydrate you fast enough. You need electrolytes. Some people need a little help getting their kidneys going again after anesthesia too. Drink something with some electrolytes and like every one else says, see your doc!
  14. I took topamax for years for migraines but couldn't tolerate the 'missing words' any longer. I am just starting it and on a low dose to try to decrease the severity and frequency of migraines. I'm about to get Botox shots around my neck and forehead too.
  15. Thanks! I have an email out to my dr but my neurologist just started me on it and I didn't know if I should wait or go ahead and start. The neurologist wanted me to start it ASAP so I was just curious.
  16. Has anyone here taken the anti-convulsant gabapentin? Did you have to stop before surgery for a certain period of time?
  17. I'm so glad to hear that! I wish it would hurry up and get here. Lol. I will keep you in my thoughts for a successful surgery, smooth recovery as well as getting to your ideal weight!
  18. I saved my tax return and got a part time job to cover the rest of the cost.
